What a day! We had our yard sale today to get rid of everything we don't need/want to take with us when we move. Spent the week getting everything together and then got up at 6am to put signs out and set up the tables. Finally quit around 5, after selling about 3/4 of our stuff. The remainder (plus some clothes) we're going to donate.

My feet hurt!!! And I sold my foot massager-thingie today, it figures! :D

But we made enough money to pay for the truck rental! Yay!!

On a side note, only 26 days until we leave for Rhode Island!:boing: :boing:

I'm sure that when you get to Rhode Island, you'll forget your achy day today and have a blast.

Go soak your feet in front of the TV. You deserve a break.

Ugh, I know how you feel. We had a huge garage sale on Saturday. We sold quite a bit, made $270! That was the profits too- not advertising or anything. I still have sooo much left though and my hubby refused to put anything back in our attic. (You think bunnies are bad, you should see how "attic crap" multiplies! ). So I am bringing lots of boxes down to my moms and we are going to have another one in two weeks. There is also tons of junk at my curb and boxes of clothes in my trunk to donate.

Doesn't it feel good to sit down?
Good luck on your move!

Thanks y'all! :smooch:

I can't wait for the move and the yard sale, though tiring, was great ~ it really kicked in the reality of it all.

chryssi, good luck on your second yard sale! :)

Isn't that the truth?

Or the stuff that is good and you have it priced dirt cheap and no one looks at it?
