Man is found glued to toilet seat


A man had to be taken to hospital still attached to a steel toilet after super-glue was deliberately smeared on the seat.
Firefighters were unable to free the man and were forced to remove the entire toilet with the man attached.
The 35-year-old was in a public toilet cubicle in Brierley Hill in the West Midlands when he became stuck.

Oh dear. My first thought was - who will pay the bills for the ambulance and the doctor? Then I remembered that in the BK national health insurance probably covers it all. Here in the States we have to pay these things out of pocket if we don't have health insurance (I don't) and I'd sure be looking for the person responsible to make sure I didn't have to pay those bills.

:lol: Not me. But then again, I'm not a first responder :) That's very likely what they'd use in the hospital to remove the seat anyway. And then they'd charge $1000 for doing so.

That is strange.... there was the same type of story a few years ago about a man claiming he was glued to a toilet seat in a Home Depot! I am pretty sure it ended up that he did it himself in hopes of getting money.

yep, that was my first thought too. But the hospital trip makes for a much better story!! Could you imagine the conversations in the ER after that? It will keep the morale up of nurses for weeks!! So think of it as a public service. :thumbsup:
