Orrery

I'm looking for a thing called an orrey...kinda like a 3d model of the planets around the zodiac wheel. (I'll try to upload pics). Does anyone know if there are any metaphysical type stores that would carry these or even if they're still made? Or even a "make your own" type kit? If anyone's ever seen anything like this I'd really appreciate your help. :D

PS: I've looked on E-Bay...that's where I found this pic, interestingly enough. But the only kinds they have for auction are the cheaping looking elementary school models.

Kadynas, No, I have never seen one of these for sale. In fact, I have only seen one, and that was many years ago when I was a pre-teen. If you do find one, expect to spend plenty of money on it because they are intended to present the solar system in a miniature form for scholastic instructional purposes only. If you believe that you need one of these, I'd check any scienctific-educational distribution company.

It's not that I /need/ one... I just love the way they look! :lol: It would be such a cool thing to have in my place... I have a whole Sun, Moon and Stars theme going, and the antique orrerys just look so elegant... :D

kadyns, OK on the receiving of the ephemeris. I just now sent you a PM asking if your had received it yet. So, you can disregard it. I'm presently having mol looking into my PM fiasco because it shows it to be empty, but when I attempt to place any messages (to myself) in it, that it show it to be full.
