Our first pagan meet

So my boyfriend and I have been practicing for about a year together (we're both 10+ years pagan) and have been with a very small coven for about 8 months. It's just not working out so tomorrow night we're going to our first pagan outing in a very very long time! I'm nervous, but excited to make new contacts and hopefully meet other people in our same situation.

It went pretty well. Met one really nice lady that was also new. Some of the people were a bit out there for me so probably would not be into doing ritual with them. But overall it was nice to just sit back and listen to pagan oriented conversation in real life! We'll probably go back again next month when they meet up.

I miss that - not having to be "on guard" all the time, careful of what I say to whom, always concerned about offending or shocking... it can be very tiresome.

Visiting here at MW can be a real relief...
