Just remembered that I have this recipe on my herby disc Thought this was the best place to post it :D
Herbal Lice Treatment
2 oz. Olive Oil
20 drops Tea Tree Oil
10 drops each Rosemary, Lavender, Lemon EO's
Combine, apply to dry hair, and cover with a plastic shower cap (small
trash bags & a paper clip work well too). Wrap head in a towel, leave on
for two hours. Work shampoo into dry hair to cut oil, rinse, shampoo
until all residue is gone.

I will copy paste this in the green room as well. It has a home in both :)

Lavender essential oil is really expensive!
Do you think it'd work without it?
Rosemary and lemon are affordable though;)

As far as I know its the tea tree oil that does the trick the rest is simply to make it a bit more pleasant for the scalp and yourself :)

Hi, Here's a link to a site that I use all the time which sells very cheap (but not inferior) oils.
Essentially Oils (http://www.essentiallyoils.com/)
It's over here in the UK and postage and packaging is free (I'm not sure the same applies to other countries, but it's worth a look).
If you go to the offers page they have a deal on Croatian, English, Fine, Kashmir, Maillette, Provence and Tasmanian Lavenders for £9.99 for the lot! (sorry! don't know the conversion into dollars! Around $15??????
Hope it helps!

If the place you're buying lavender essential oil is really expensive, you should check elsewhere. Lavender is not usually expensive.
