I have posted 2 requests for readings in the past 5 months and I never get any responses. Is there a reason for that? I see that others get their postings answered but not mine. Can some one please 'clue me in'. Thanks.

Thanks, Flaire. I just didn't know if someone did a reading and didn't want to tell me because of the outcome or I am not doing or saying something right... or what was going on. I appreciate you taking the time to do this for me. I wish there was something that I could do for you in return but am totally new to Tarot and all things Pagan.

traveller69 - please don't take it personal, I'm sure it is not meant to be.

I always thought it would be easier if somehow Mystic Wicks could separate those looking from readings from the regular postings -- that way people looking for readings would be all together instead of stuck inbetween other posts, but Dagda told me once that would make the forum impossible to maintain.

I think that's why there is the "Tarot Reading Swap" thread stuck at the top of the forum, but it's not regularily used, unfortunately. :dis: And, not to mention, hard to navigate through. (IMO)

I prefer the individual posts myself, but I usually PM people their readings anyway.. ;)

Unfortuately, there's not an easy way to seperate posts for people who would like readings vs decks vs learning vs questions....etc.

It's too bad we don't have 'sub-folders' available to us, but there's no real way to work that out. We would have to have different Tarot rooms and we just don't have the room for that type of segregation here. Besides, reading other people readings is a great way to learn also. ;)

Yes, the swap thread was created for everyone to "swap readings". But many people asking for a reading can't aways return the favor, for various reasons.

Sometimes a post just gets lost in the shuffle for me....Had I realized that no one had responded to your post traveller69, I would have read for you. I'm sorry I missed your post. It doesn't happen often that I miss a post, but it does happen. :( I'll try to be more diligent! :)

Yep, I saw your post after Flaire had already responded. I would have loved to have read for you.

Sometimes it's just not the right time for folks to do readings. For instance I wanted to do a reading for Puma when she requested one before she was to fly somewhere, but things were so hetic for me at that time. With 3 kids who are always going and doing it's sometimes hard for me to find a quite time to do a reading.

Don't be discouraged and please have faith in us. Someone will read for you. You may have to be patient - but you can always keep bumping up your request. If you don't get a reply you can try a private request by sending someone a PM.:)
