I am excited to announce that I am starting a project making a wooden covered book of shadows. On the cover and back I plan on doing some very intricate detailed wood burning designs. I will post pics as soon as it's complete. I'll also be placing some pics here of a wall plaque I made and woodburned on....:D

The first pic above is a front view of the book (closed). I have brass hinges on the right side which I am working on a small wand to slip through the rings to keep it closed.
This second pic is a close up of the locking hinges...

Here's a pic of the book opened and at an angle. Next I am going to be covering the outer back binder in leather, I still need to do some more sanding....then comes the woodburning.....and finally the staining and lacquering, of course I need to adhere the paper to the inside binder as well.

Goddess wall plaque....
Here's a few pics of a wall hanging I made last year.....(still working on the right lighting for pics...grrrr)
This thing measures about 3 feet across and took me about a week to woodburn.....around the outer edges it says: I am the beauty of the green earth and the white moon among the stars.

WOW...that is absolutely beautiful! I wish I could do something like that...it's so pretty! I can't wait to see what your BoS is going to look like when its done :)
