Book of shadows question not in any posts

Does your book of shadows have to have book of shadows written on it? I can't get privacy no matter what in my house since im only 15, so i bought a nice italian red leather, and old looking design on it, can't be decorated but in the first page im putting out a printed pentagram and symbols and such...

I'll say no.... Mine's just a bunch of spiral note books and one big binder (plus some stuff on disc)

I think that a BoS is anything you want to put in it as you grow in your path. Mine is a plain dusty rose 3 ring binder. I'm also on the look-out for some material so I can use a sewing pattern I found to make covers for binders, frames, and little cloth boxes. It's all up to you on how you want it to be.

Nope. Your BoS can have anything you want in or on it.

Mine is a covered photo album. I found this tie-dyed blue/green cloth. Nothing that shouts out "this is a Witch book" :lol:

my BoS. . . is so scattered in so many bits and pieces, that should it ever come together as an actual book (gasp) it will be a sign of the coming apocolypse, I'm sure of it! *grins*

Seriously though. . . I don't think it has to have anything 'mandatory' about it. . . it is your personal 'record' and place to keep things, of your path. So to speak, anyhow. . . it is you. Let it be as unique as you are. :)

Mine is a five-subject notebook that I simply covered with fabric with a celestial pattern that I found in the remnants pile at Wal-Mart. The words are on the inside.
