I have gotten to the stage where I feel I need some more active results from my magic. At the moment I feel I am at a big standstill.

Does anyone know any methods that can help me astral project, use or use telekinesis or telapathy?

Please don't give me any methods unless you have actually used them successfully... I am still a big of a skeptic when it comes to these things - I do believe it is possible, I just think many people who say they can are exaggerating a little.

Okay, I bumped two on astral projection in this forum and the other two are on trancework, they are in divination.

Something that makes me weirdly curious is the fact that I've seen my sister (who isn't my sister by any way in blood... and we're starting to think that at one point she might have been my priestess. our relationship is a weird one.) utilize telekinetics... usually when she was in an altered state of mind. I only recall her using it twice: the first time was when she came back from a convention drunk off her ass. She's got poor health and there was a computer chair with the back missing, thusly giving way to a big spikey painful bit. She lost her balance and was falling towards it and I swear that at the last moment, it swivelled out of her way without her touching it, and the chair "caught" her. The other time was at a renaissance faire when she "pushed" me off the bleachers on accident... she fell swiftly afterward. I didn't really sense anything with either incident... which makes me think it was telekinesis. I have no idea WHY, but I seem to think that certain abilities, when utilized a differant way (i.e. psychic powers) resonate on a different frequency than some others.

I like to think it comes from the perspective. For example: a group of people might want to move a branch. One of these people believes in telekinesis, the other talks to wind spirits, and the last is just an elementalist without the shamany bits. Each of them open themselves up to their magic, and then force out the results of moving the branch. However, since they're open to "their" style, they wouldn't sense the energies of the others. The different perspectives give a differant frequency, though no less powerful or important.

As far as it goes I believe it's from an altered state of mind. I mean, really, it's proven we use little of our brain's capacity. On the other hand... how often does someone take a catscan when they're drunk, or on LCD, or having altered their frequency/perception of their world? Having not used telekinesis, and more of a dreamwalking-oriented form of projection... I can't help too much personally, but there's my experiences/thoughts. *rambled too much, probobly. heh.* As a side note, falling asleep while trying to astrally project can lead to very, very odd experiences.

They have some great exercises in developing tele-(insert desired effect here) abilities. Some of it sounds pretty outlandish, but they go about it in a very scientific fashion. Which is good for when your left brain just won't shut it. :D
