Hey! I need y'all's help.
There's a kitty here at work.. striped head, tail, and feet.. with spots on the rest of it and a white belly. I want to take it home to get it a good place to live..
Help me catch it! He looks so pretty and I feel a connection with him.. so if you would.. send energies, helpers, guides.. anything (almost) to help me get this little kitty! Poor thing!

If it's close enough, talk to it when you see it. FEED IT. You might wait til it's really hungry and sneak up and snatch it when it's so absorbed in eating it's forgotten about you for a few seconds.
Someone just told me that Flar and I should be declared a feline sanctuary  We had a stray with a litter of five. They all disappeared, one by one until there was one left, the runt. When his last sibling was gone, he was a lot less timid and allowed me to grab him. I took him in last night and my son's girlfriend and I tortured it with worm medicine, ear cleaning and flea medication. He's been trying to nurse from the male cat  and is playing with the other two and their cat toys.
Flar promised me we'll find it a home.........I'm already bonding........

lots of 'kitty attracking energy' coming your way...
And Freyja, I'm glad to here your little foundling is doing so well.
No comment on the 'bonding', because I'd be doing the same thing...

set out some canned cat food. and try to get close while he is
eating, but dont grab him, just talk. then second time you feed
him(canned food) you talk and then grab him.(kindly if possible)
you're gonna want a catbox to carry him in, just in case he decides
to show you how much he likes being held.
sometimes making cat noises calms them down......purr yourself
or questioning meow or mews, gets their curiosity to take over
from caution.

Well, not many people know this but.....If you get some liquid valarian, and just put a few drops on your hands and rub is in...cats will come right to you... and be very happy and relaxed around you... Um be careful tho, as rats like it too...
in fact this herb is very attractive to lots of animals.
I was taking it very regularly at one time and I was very popular with the furry sect, and that is how I found out. Everybody's cats couldn't leave me alone, and would drag the bottle out of my purse while fighting for lap room. Too funny.

I havne't seen the kitty today.. so I don't know if I'll see him again. I don't have any valerian oil or root either I don't think.. but a friend of mine may. I'll have to find some.
If nothing else, hubby and I are gonna go to the shelter and find one.

Well.....Flar and I have this new kitty that needs a home ;)
I brought him over here last night. Possum is spitting and hissing and growling, but playing with him. Pouncy hasn't stopped spitting and hissing and growling and even scratched me........
Flar took one look at him and named him Groucho 'cause of his lil mustache...which is bigger on one side than the other. Name suits him, but I'm already attached and he does have to go! Little Freyja doesn't like anyone but me and she has to move in with me.

Oh....naming a cat you're trying to find a home for. Not good.....makes it that much harder to let go (even when you know it's for the best). Freyja, here's hoping you have much success in finding the new baby a very good and loving home.
Many years ago, I lived out in a farmland type area. Many coyotes traveled about day or night. Old One Eye showed up on my doorstep....a very thin old looking stray, who appeared to have only one eye. By day three I knew I had to take him to the shelter because he wasn't eating and becomming more and more lethargic. I had guessed that he was a very sick cat and preferred his passing to be gentle and not at in the jaws of some hungry coyote. I cried so much over taking him in, knowing in my heart that his life was soon to be over. Two days later the shelter called to let me know that Old One Eye's only problem was a foxtail that had become lodged on his eye. Apparently he was in so much pain that he wouldn't eat. The shelter was able to remove the fox tail and he was doing really well. They informed me that once he put some weight back on he was going to be eligible for adoption. Oh. happiness!!! You don't know how badly I wanted to go back and adopt that cat!!! However, I knew that he was an outdoor cat and my roommate at the time was VERY allergic to cats. I couldn't see risking him becoming coyote dinner, so I only hope some loving family found him absolutely adorable.

Valarian isn't required, it just helps... so does a can of food and a warm an loving heart, with plenty of patience.
Good luck to you.
