Runes: Spread vs. Cast

As a Rune reader, I find that I like to use a cast on a special casting cloth that I have made to give readings. But I find that most others that I have encountered use spreads similar to those used in Tarot. I was wondering what others used.

Silver Venus posted some wonderful spreads a while back for runes and I never got around to trying them. I draw my runes and just use the three rune spread. My readings are always right on target, so why fix it if it ain't broke :rolleyes:

...I don't think I've ever used a 'spread', but I find that I get equally good results from a full cast or from drawing 3 from the bag... nothing against using them in a spread, I've just never done it...
