hi every1, hant posted in yonx . .. anyway, I read dreams, but I alwys have problems with my own, and at the moment I'm aking a break from divination anyway (so I respect it more . . loooonnnnng story)

I have this dream, I would like it read, please, i think its importent

a guy who is particularly attractive who shows me a piece of paper with all my details on, including my internet details (passwords for things, home address, email address, fone num, etc) I am shocked that he has all these details and am quite exited that this guy must have an excessive interest in me and want to get close to him but realise that he isnt really interested in me at all when he sets me up w/ his best friend

then I realise that I am in some seedy place that i wanna get out of

I'm running away and bump into a guy who respect and expect to help me get away and we run a bit and he leeds me into a room to 'get away' which ends up bein a bedroom . . .I stilll dont click but I realise that I'm safe so I sit on the bed, I ask him what 2 do next (there are no other exits other than that which we have just came through) and he basically says we're gonna sleep 2 getha. . . .I dont remember doin it just the next day where we're geiin married, but its not the next day, I'm 19 and shopping for a edding dress, but talking to my friend telling him that cameron (the guy who I respect, getting married 2) is not over cathrine (his ex) and that me marrying him is wrong, I shop anyway and wake up, dont know whether I ended up marrying him or not. . . . .oh yes, when I was looking @ wedding dresses I wanted a satin/silk, sapphire blue colour ball gown type dress. I refused point blank to have a white one

please help . . .

this has been going through my head all day and I can't let it rest, thanx

Well, I'm just rambling about things to think about, so...

First, as you probably know, it could mean nothing. Could just be random playings of your mind, could be because marriage came up somewhere recently. But I'm sure you know that and you think it's important so..

Second, marriage is a ritual that represents to me pomp and circumstance for the benefit of the guests - I personally wouldn't get married except that my family and fiance want to be at the wedding. To me it's a nice thing to do, and fun, and I'm not saying I hate the idea, but to me it is just a great party for your friends and family. To me, I will get married more to please other people - so if I were to have a dream like that, I'd wonder if it was symbolizing that I'm jumping into or feel I am jumping into something someone else wants and that's not the best for me.

The attractive person introducing you to someone else might symbolize a person or circumstance in which you feel obligated or stuck in doing something you don't want to, as well. You don't mention if you're attracted to your real groom or the guy's friend, or why you had the wedding so soon - in fact you really don't mention that guy at all.

This could also mean that marriage and getting married, or again doing something for someone else when your feelings aren't in it, is the idea here. Also, the fact that you were in a seedy place suggests "not being where you want to", as does this guy saying you're going to sleep together. You mention you didn't feel marrying this guy was the right thing, but again you're doing it - why? Do you feel like you're doing something you don't want to? Do you feel people are trying to do something even religious you don't want to?

As to the blue dress, maybe it's another symbol of you wanting to do your own thing, and maybe in that little detail you do. Maybe you're compromising with someone?

Anyway, these are just my random ideas based on my beliefs, and just something to think about. As you probably know from looking at other peoples' dreams, you should write down everyone in your dream, all the environments, feelings you had, who was important, what people might symbolize (with freeform thought), and so on.

What Raevyn said, that's an excellent interpretation.

We are having a ceremony because I learned in the Marriage and Family courses I took in college that your choice of ceremony and who attends actually has an effect on the success of your marriage. For instance, when parents don't attend your marriage tends to have a better chance of failure. Like in the movie "Moonstruck," when Cher says that she got married at the courthouse and she had "bad luck" so this time it she was going to have a ring, etc. This relationship is very special to me and I also want to have the ceremony to offer thanks to the gods and goddesses for giving me one of the greatest blessings of my life. We already feel spiritually married and a ceremony isn't even necessary, but we want to publicly celebrate it with our loved ones.

so are you trying to say that in my dream the choice t have an unorthodox wedding may have some bearing on what I wanted the symbolic 'marriage' to be like?? *thinkthink*, oh, ok :)
