So I've been doing more and more research to find out how Isis was worshipped and I've come across a few references to a sweet, pink-coloured milk that was occasionally put in the situla (breast-shaped pail or bucket). The Internet being what it is, I've only been able to find references to the milk, and references to the recipe, but of course, no-one seems to actually give the damn recipe. I don't suppose anyone here has ever found such a thing anywhere?

I'd go with honey-sweetened milk as a sure bet. I'd put money on it. But the pink...that's something new to me.
I'll check into some books I have at home and see if I can find any reference pink milk.

I read somewhere that yak's milk is pink, but I kinda doubt that's what you're after...

I strongly doubt that the ancient Egyptians and Romans had access to yak's milk. Yes, the Romans had some communication with China, but expecting yak's milk to survive the journey and be fresh at the end of it is ridiculous...unless that's why the milk was pink.
The Internet claims that yak's milk is not pink.

Breast milk is sometimes pink. If the mother has sore, cracked nipples tiny amounts of blood can get into the breastmilk and make it look pink-coloured.
Also, breast milk is sweet-tasting, too. Not sure if this is helpful, though. :)

On what sites did you read about the pink milk?

If you want pink milk, you could always use that strawberry milk mix stuff. Perhaps it's not historically accurate, but it does produce drinkable pink milk.
Or you could use honey-sweetened milk with a bit of natural food color added.

Ew.
I wish I could remember where I read about the pink milk. It's been more than one place, I know that much, and I didn't imagine it because just the other day on Saturday someone referenced the pink milk in conversation with me.
I'm also trying to figure out - why pink? The milk in of itself sort of makes sense, but the Nile water being carried in the situla makes even more sense in my opinion. Or, you know, 'Nile' water :P I doubt that people in temples very far away from Egypt had access to water from the Nile.
Man....maybe I should get a situla :P Of course, Isis' shrine is pretty crowded right now - I don't even have space on it for the sistrum I got yesterday. There's nowhere that a situla could live at the moment...but I should still get one :P

I did a quick search and found reference to the pink milk here http://groups.msn.com/templeofisis/sacredfoodsofisisandosiris.msnw (bottom of page).
And here - Google Book search - The Mysteries of Isis by deTraci Regula chapter 17.
I haven't been able to find a recipe yet just references to it.

I know this thread is old, but I wanted to add that I have read hippo's milk is pink, which would make sense in relation to Isis and the Nile river.
The Mysteries of Isis mentions the pink milk in passing, no recipe, but says it could be used as a milk substitute for babies who were abandoned.

My first inclination would be to say it's probably just alkanet in the milk, as that was the usual red/pink dye for the Egyptians.
It could also be wine and milk mixed together (if the milk had heavy fat content or the wine was not too acidic, this would work; otherwise it might curdle.)
