Burning Tree

I usually remember my dreams when I first wake up, then I lose it rather quickly. But last night, I had a very vivid dream, I only remember part of it. I was standing in my yard with people...(not sure who) and the tree in my front yard started burning, except it wasn't the tree I actually have in my front yard...it looked like driftwood...except still rooted, and twisty. And it was burning and I was yelling for someone to call the fire department all panicky...then I looked around, saw the hose, and put the fire out before "help" arrived. Then I remember feeling guilty that I had called them when it wasn't necessary...

That's it! Any ideas?

I have thoughts, but I don't want to offend. . .

I think that your mid is telling you that there are issues in your life that you often feel you cannot overcome. So you call for help.

Yet, what you need to solve them are right there. In fact you are capable of taking care of things yourself. Better then anyone else can in fact - and faster.

Once you realize this then you may feel a little sheepish for asking for help when you didn't need it. Like the boy who called wolf. Maybe you are afraid that people will think less of you for asking. Or are afraid that help will not come when you really do need it because you have asked in the past when it wasn't necessary.

I may be totally way off. I like to babble.

That sounds like a suitable explanation, but it doesn't fit me so much. I don't have anything to overcome...(I don't think!) But I'll think on that.
