Prayers for Nallia's Father

If many of you remember...my roomie Nallia's father suffered a heart attack a couple of months ago.

Well we just recieved word over the weekend that he has suffered several strokes and was under heavy sedation and on a respirator at the hospital.

Apparently they took him off the sedation, but he still has not woken up.

When you have the time please send her and her family some energy. *soft smile*

Oh what sad news!!! Nallia and her family are in my thoughts and prayers. May they find comfort and strength during this time. And may any pain or discomfort her father experiences be minimal. A candle will be lit as soon as I return home.

Well Nallia's father is awake and alert...however, in what I think is just about everyone's worst nightmare...he can move nothing but his eyes.

The only way he can communicate is by blinking.

Apparently what caused the stroke is now blocking off the impulses to his brain stem so he has no muscle control.

She's flying out there either Friday or Saturday so that she can still go to her job interview on Wednesday morning.
