Anyone do any special Full Moon spells or rituals last night?
It was a Wolf Moon last night, very powerful for planning for the comming year.

Yup.
We worked with the concept of Pi and how it applies as a function to the universe as a building force.

Any plans went out the window. We took my grandkids to the Winter Festival at our local park and as I was climbing down the steps from the hay ride wagon I missed the bottom step and fell flat on face again (second time in 2 months). This time I either sprained my ankle very badly or broke a small bone in the top of my foot. Needless to say I ended up sitting in bed with my foot elevated and a cold pack on it. The only magical thing I did last night was to channel some Reiki energy - and not just for me. I sent some to Amethyst Rose for her back and some to my friend Don for a pinched nerve and to my friend Barb for healing from heart issues. Guess that's not too shabby - just not a ritual.

How do you define "a" Wolf Moon? I was always taught that the Wolf Moon was usually after the first of the solar year, and that this one was the Oak Moon. I realize that they all have a bazillion different names according to different traditions, but I've never heard this one called the Wolf Moon. I'm not trying to be combative, I'm just curious about how you see the moons of the year. :)

I like to spritually cleanse myself on Full Moons. I bath in the smoke of frankinscense 1st, then sage, then cloves, breathing in some of the clove smoke for internal cleansing. I feel so much better for weeks afterwards . . . Its going to be a monthly ritual for me on the full moon to keep me balanced during the upcomming years mahem that's bound to ensue (custody, cross country move, possible menopause, and the ever draining power of the universe: multiple teenagers)

Cloves? Interesting, I've never "smudged" with cloves. Do you have clove incense or use clove cigarettes or how do you do this bathing?
PS - perimenopause can be worse than menopause in many ways. I started perimenopause at about 44 and was fully menopausal by 50. Still have some hot flashes now and then, and actually have PMS (hormonal fluctuations) a couple of times a year. Crazy eh?

I was going by info I had gotton a while back. Oak Moon represents moon energy in November and optimistic outlook of Sagittarius.
.
"Wolf Moon as seen in December, represents connection between moon energy and ambitious organizer of Capricorn. Rituals can aid in manifasting all material items. Ues the energy of this moon to plan or organize for the future."
One of the sites I work from is Enchanted Oaks. It has alot of info. I use my own words most of the time, it gives me some guidelines, as I am still learning. I might have it down in my next life . :) Maybe LOL
