HI everyone......or as you all seem to say...merry meet.??? (dunno) as you guys can probably guess, im a total newb!!!!!!!!(hehehehe i love being the new kid!!!yay!) n e way, i just need suggenstions and pointers into this whole pagan idea. I have been born and bred as a christian, but i think im being called to check out other options. ive already visited islam, vacationed in buddhism, and piddled with wicca when i was much younger. what is a "spirit guide," and how do i tap into my individual psychic power? these are just a couple of my questions. but if u have answers to ?s that i havent asked....thats great too! thnx you guys!!!

Search Google (http://google.com) for Pagan sites (there are thousands), also look at the stuck threads at the top of this forum for "Where to Start" etc. Look in our Books forum for suggested reading for newbies, Pagan Geek for a thread about Pagan resources, and feel free to ask questions here. We have lots to offer you.

A spirit guide is a spirit who guides you quite simply ;) Sometimes they come to you in a dream or when you're meditating to help you grow spiritually. You tap into "powers" by studying and researching, learning and doing simple techniques such as visualization, grounding and centering, meditation, energy manipulation, and so on. Simply by doing research and thinking about your beliefs you start opening them up, then when you read and learn more you'll learn about other ways.
