I do hope this is the correct place to share this.

I have only just this afternoon found some paintings online by Remedios Varo.

They can be viewed here http://www.tendreams.org/varo.htm

I find her work to be stunning. I really love this type of 'surrealist' art.

I am too ignorant of the subject to give any meaningful insights, therefore I
highly recommend that you view the paintings yourself.

I first became aware of the artwork through a picture that someone had used on YouTube. I had wanted to know who had drawn the picture, yet even before seriously looking for it, it practically found me first while I was viewing The Daily Grail earlier.

enjoy

Also look up Leonora Carrington and Susan Seddon Boulet if you enjoy Remedios Varo.

All are fascinating artists. Carrington and Varo were friends before Varo passed away. Carrington is actually still alive today, I think she's in her late 90s.

Boulet's art is more recent, and a bit softer and more gentle, but it still has that mysterious quality and stylistic similarities.
