What is our favorite Saga and why?
I read the Saga of Ref the Sly last night. Its a short saga but I found it very entertaining. Ref is a very sympathetic character in my opinion. He was a 'coal-bitter' in his youth but when given the chance he excelled as a craftsman and turned out to be a fine warrior in many respects. Personally I liked how he was a little 'off beat' compared to most of the other people in the Saga. He wasn't outspoken and let things lie untill it was time to act, and then he acted very decisivly, relying just as much on his luck and wits as he did his spear.
His dialogue in front of the king filed with riddles was just plain awesome.
