I Have not seen any threads that deal with Native American traditions. Am I not seeing them cuz they are not there or am I just missing them? If there are none, would it be alright if I started one?
I am of Cherokee decent and part of my path is following my ancestors.
Thank You,

There is no one forum for the Native American traditions, but I would try in the Magick, Divination, and History forums.
Also, you could start some threads on them, I for one would be interested in them.
I hope that this helps...

I would not even know where to start to post anything native american :p
I mean to me it is a way of life, not just a religion or path.
Thank you though,

That is so true and thank you :)
So much to see here.
I have to look through my files and see what I can find and then figure out where to post stuff. That is always the hard part.

there are native american related threads and stories here, ya
just have to know what to search for. Lots of them are posted
in unrelated threads. We talked briefly about the trail of tears,
Old Witch and myself.(both being of Cherokee descent) others
have pictures in native garb talking about their weddings.
search for them. use words like. Indian. Cherokee(or any tribal name)
Reservation. Native American. Beads. Hunting. Ceremony/ies.
I wouldnt use all these terms at once.
also, when using search function, it is better to select the option
that shows results as posts, is easier to find stuff. And dont let
the forum that it is in throw you off. Lots of Stuff spoken of in
the Just Silly forum that is not necessarily silly.

(((SilverMoonDragon))) *soft smile* I think you missed our point...we are saying here is the freedom to post and say what you will about your traditions. Pick any title and any spot and we will read and learn. See- here, look-there...we have interested folks in many places. We have folks who would walk a ways with you. We will look to you as an Auntie; one from who we would learn. We would gift you with the freedom to lead the way and be teacher.
This is what we are offering, no sadness.

He's Creek/Seminole!:D
I know I had a thread going somewhere on the Pow Wow that Hubby is the arena director for that talked about a few different traditions....like Flar said, just use the search function.
Then join in, start a thread, promise we'll all have opinions to offer.
