Please find attached the pictures of the shipment that Ron @ V A E received in for his PO# *****.
There was no packing material in the first box to prevent the parts from bouncing around in shipment, and when he opened the box, there were terminals everywhere, and he is unsure if there are any that are missing or damaged because they are all mixed together in the same box as his cable. In addition, the condition of the package was absolutely atrocious. (The customer stated that it looked like King Kong played hacky sack with it)
On the second shipment that he received on this order, he should have received 20pcs of a BAL****. Customer states that there are only 9pcs in the box, and also included in the box are 50 vials of 2% Lidocaine. (Which is a drug.) I do not know what happened here, but the customer needs to get the balance of the pieces, and would like to know what to do with the lidocaine. The customer also requests that in the future, we refrain from sending him drugs.

Please advise.

Is anyone else confused? I honestly have no idea what this is saying. I get that some computer parts weren't shipped properly and there were drugs shipped(?) but I just don't get it.

Maybe I need more coffee??? :D :p

Kaylara's profile indicates her employment as Sales Rep/Customer Service. I'm guessing this is a letter she had to write to the company that shipped the products based on a complaint received from a customer. And based on the content of the letter (specifically the part about receiving Lidocaine), I can see why she thought she would never have to write a letter regarding such subject matter.

Ok, how did I do???

I'd suggest you find out who, exactly, sent the package, and make 'em tinkle in a cup.

Make 'em explain themselves, too, and make sure you know how to detect lying beforehand (there was a really nifty thread on detecting lies, but I dunno where it is :p)

"stated that it looked like King Kong played hacky sack with it"

I love this quote....that is what the packages I send my son arrive like. LOL

Being a person who works in an IT department, I completely understand the reason the shipment was made.

You see, the first package was a mucked up, so the frustration of having to match the various terminals to their respective packing slip, along with extracting the cables from the box... well, the company, understanding full well, simply sent the Lidocaine to the customer to NUMB his body from the effects of frustration.

It was actually a very humane thing to do when you consider the facts. 8O :bug: :ugh: :blushake: :nyah:
