Hi!

Hope this is okay to post here since I don't have a review of this...*yet* But artist Lisa Hunt (as in the Shapeshifter Tarot) will have "The Fairy Tale Tarot" deck out sometime this year. In the meantime, here's a great video of the Major Arcana on YouTube

Take care!

I hear ya there! :clapping:

I've been watching her blog and all her sketches and art just bursting into life all last year. I don't WANT to wait until later this year for this!! :cutie:

Her art just captivates me and inspires so many emotions. Very calming.

When I saw she was doing THIS sory of theme and finally saw some scans.....WOW was I a happy girl. This is one of my dream decks. Those don't come along often, do they?? Here is her blog and gallery! http://www.thefairytaletarot.com/

The only thing I am not happy about is Lewellyn now has standard deck sizes so this deck will be pretty small, it NEEDS a large card size to see that intricate art. And their cardstock has gone so downhill in the past few years. I hope the book is going to be very good and large this sort of deck needs it a lot.

The size of the cards will be the same size as the Mystic Dreamer, if you have that. Not large at all. And I PRAY they do not add tacky ugly borders that take up so much card space like they did with the Mystic Dreamer. Ruined the deck for me. I watchted that deck being created and it's gorgeous. The way Lewellyn did the borders and the small size, you literally have to use a magnifying glass to see anything! Uhg.

Are some keeping up with her wonderful blog? She writes so beautifully and with passion about the inception, creation and everything in between concerning this deck!

It's a rarely seen glimpse into creating a deck .....awesome!

She's just now got some proofs and edits back, she mentioned there was nothing major they wanted changed or tweaked and she was very happy about that....

The cover to the book is absolutely breathtaking!

Other than the Vampire Tarot, The Fairy Tale is my most coveted deck release this year....only a few more months!!

Along the same theme...

I own this: http://www.fairytaletarot.com/

It's exquisite. Check out the Chariot card. That was the card that convinced me I needed to own it.

But Jesus, I might have to buy TWO fairytale tarot decks...her artwork is lovely.

Ah yes! That deck has been a top 5 favourite and reading deck for years for myself!

I love everything about it and then some....I just did a reading with it yesterday. The book is a rare gem as well.

I agree. I love it so much. The stories are perfect, and the artwork is beautiful.

Run and buy it!! :uhhuhuh:
