It seems that many people, this time of year, are looking for information on how to choose something, and start something new ... or not.
So how do you divine a quick yes/no?
What do you use?
flip a coin? what is heads and what is tails? what if it lands on it's side?
what else???
quick tell us

I usually use a dowsing pendulum for simple yes/no questions with great luck. I would advise anything that you're the most comfortable with. I know people who just shuffle they're tarot deck and pick a card at random from it and use that answer for whatever question they've asked.

I have two identical sized, shaped, and polished rocks.
One is black and one is white.
I put them in a cloth bag, shake it and fish my hand in.
Black means no.
White means yes.
That's pretty much it!

Pendulum is good, or Cartomancy, using red as yes and black as no, or you use the tarot, using upright as yes, reverse as no.
Of course with me being me, I'd probably make it a longer process, look through all the energies, and tally them up, seeing if there is more positive, or negative energy in regards to the question, and answer based on that analysis, but that does take time.

I've used coins for a flip. Most the time I use Tarot, I don't read with reversals so I know which cards mean yes and which mean no. It's my own personal system! I've found it to be pretty accurate for me.

Look at all those answers, and I am sure there are more!
What about looking to the night sky, asking waiting for a star to look brighter, to the left or the right, one side for yes the other for no?
What about using your body as a pendulum, standing up saying yes, and waiting does your body lean forward or back? Then repeat the process of standing and saying no, which way does the body lean now? Now you know your yes and no -- ask the question.
What about staring into a fire? If it jumps up tall and bright yes, if it seems to wither some no.
Others??

I usually use a coin.
But, I will occasionally ask for an answer while driving, then check license plates, road signs, etc. for my answer. Sometimes the answers are surprising. LOL
