This was sent to me by a friend in another forum. I have edited it slightly. Please read. It just might work.

***********
The sniper who is terrorizing the east coast needs to be stopped. He has used the Tarot as his calling card. Whether he is a serious occultist, is using the cards as a smoke screen to throw off profilers, or just watched "Live and Let Die" one too many times, from a metaphysical point he has shown a chink in his defenses. A weakness that witches and magi can exploit.

We need to "light him up". Shine a beacon on him, make him visible to the authorities. Make the light so bright he has to squint his eyes and goofs up.The light will make him feel like hiding is hopeless.

My suggestion is we all take the death card from a tarot deck, and put it on our altar, in the sunshine. We say "you are NOT God. You are man, A weak, sick man and you shall be taken." At night light a candle by the card imagine the rays surrounding him, making him stand out. If a policeman sees him for ANY reason he'll want to stop him.

Send this idea to other friends, make it a cross country spell! Many years ago in Denver there was a serial rapist. Many witches got together and decided something needed to be done. After tossing out the ideas to kill him outright, or cause his testicles to rot, some suggested binding him, but those spells require some sort of closer contact with the subject and doing them puts you on the edge of the shadow yourself. They decided instead to just shine a light on him. He was caught 4 days later.

This sniper probably has family, perhaps even friends, undoubtedly co workers. If the light is bright, THEY will see something. The sickness this fellow is suffering from means there is a good chance he is just playing a game, seeing how long before he is caught. We can weigh in on the other side and help that along.

As I said, it's a suggestion, and not one that requires tons of argument or bantering. Join if you will, ignore if you will, follow your own heart.

Hi TB,

Yep, thanks for bringing this thing up! I willsurely do some "light work" to enlighten folks that this scum will finally be caught! Count me in.

BTW thanks for the invitation, I already feel much at home here ;)

I certainly feel more comfortable shining a light into darkness than casting a spell to bind this bastard. :evilway:

Thank you, Tom & Catlin for your help from the other side of the Atlantic.

A binding spell is a frightful thing; I had to do one years ago to keep someone from getting me fired ( they were wrecking havoc with the entire employee base). It involved mentioning them by name, which I was uncomfortable in doing. It was necessary and I did it. They ended up leaving the company soon after.

Although two suspects have been caught we do not know if they are the sniper or not. Please keep up the tarot ritual! The police need light to find the correct evidence.

I agree interesting....very interesting.
I do know that they took two in.
Praying they are THE ones....and from what I hear they are pretty confident that they are.

Yeah... I'm surprised a kid was one of the people taken in... :dis:

I really doubt that he is much of an occultist. The death card rarely stands for physical death anyway. I think this was just a ploy.

Surely hope that the guys they have in custody are the guily parties.

It might seem smug to say so, but I can't help but notice that I sent the 'antisniper' spell to three different forums and 36 hours later the two men now held were caught. Did the police do it themselves, or did our network of determined spellworkers doing a spell ' for good' have anything to do with it.

There are rumors another gunman may have been involved. Let us try to see if he can be found, too.

Have you ever read 'Lammas Night' by Katherine Kurtz? WONDERFUL!

I just came to say exactly that. If he was a serious occultist and wanted to leave a message through a tarot card, there are others that would have fit much better.

I don't watch the news except at work (don't own a TV) so I have not kept up with the case. My thought is that the person who left the tarot calling card is no mastermind but that it was NOT left by the two accused but some opportunist jumping on a bandwagon.

Never thought of that.
But I did think that those two were taken in very easily.
No fight nor nuthin!;)
