I need to know if anyone has any information on a spell, ritual or other way to break a soulmate connection. I know it may seem like a strange request, but it is very important.

Ouch. About the only thing that will do that is taking the time to live for yourself again. Give yourself about six months away from said soulmate, without diving into any new relationships.

Those things can't be cut. The gentlest way to get rid of them is to let them fade from atrophy.

They *can* be cut on a magical/astral level, but that's usually painful, difficult, and unnecessary. PB and Rick's responses are what you should do first - go the mundane route PB suggested, then if you need the magickal route Rick suggested do that if the mundane doesn't work, or if it's in your beliefs do the mundane and magickal at the same time.

Either way, it's usually that easy :)

And after you've taken those steps in the mundane, when you feel you are ready you might consider doing a ritual to symbolize closure and the severing of the relationship. About six months after my last relationship, I did a ritual where I took some things such as some roses that I had dried, cards, etc. and burned them in a ritual fire to symbolize the end of the relationship. I also gave thanks for the positive things and good memories that I still have.

Everything of his that I ever had was destroyed long ago. It has been over a year and a half since I've since him, I am since married (and happy with my marriage) however I am still plagued by thoughts of him. Explorations of past lives have uncovered many times where we were together, however none of them are happy and most of them have been downright vicious. There are two in particular that were evil (and that is not a word I use lightly.) I am not in love with him anymore, I just can't quite manage to get away from him totally, particularly on the astral level.
