Hi, I'm new both to this forum, and the Wiccan Path. I live in Wyoming, and there aren't a lot of resources here! ( I think we have one pagan supply store in the whole state, and it's 120 miles away from me!) If anyone knows any place that sells herbs, oils and CAULDRONS!!! that is close to Riverton, please let me know? I am 46, and this is my last day homeschooling my 13 year old daughter. She's going back to public school on Monday. She's a social creature, and homeschooling got lonely. Ahh, peace and quiet again! Now, if I can only get my 20 year old son out on his own!! Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from everyone, and I hope to give a lot. Bye.

 Merry Meet and Welcome Home!
I just decided to give my 19 year old the house and move out myself  Actually, Flar and I are being handfasted soon.
I recently posted a thread in Just Talk about the International Witches' Meet-up. Some folks have had luck finding pagans in their areas through their site. You might want to give it a try.
If you can't find herbs readily, you can actually find some such as sage and lavender in grocery stores along with peppermint and basil. I find a lot of magickal tools in thrift shops and antique malls. I'm still kicking myself for not buying a large iron kettle that would have made a perfect cauldron because I thought they wanted too much money :(

Welcometh! Pull up a chair and cast a sit spell on it!
you may have to go to a gardening store. also growing your own
is a nice option if you are able.......cauldron? Big pot. Cast iron
cookware? maybe mail order? from a renfair site or similar site?
A lot of people here dont buy there stuff, they just get creative
and make it themselves.(lots of threads on this)

Thanks, everybody! I think I'll be happy here, thanks to your kind words. I do have a large iron skillet, could that do for a cauldron? We have one thrift store in town, (the other one closed due to no business!), but they wanted $45. for an iron pot. A LITTLE iron pot! With no handle, and no legs. I looked for altar cloths there, too, but I could only find tiny scraps of stained, shredded material for $5 to $8. I walked out. We do have an herb store, I discovered. Someone told me about it, so I went in this afternoon. I found Lavender, Chamomile, and Peppermint, but couldn't remember the other ones I needed! I think I'll check the threads to see if anyone has any advice on herbs. My books don't seem to go into it very much! (I have Silver RavenWolf's "To Ride A Silver Broomstick" and Scott Cunningham's "Living Wicca- A Guide for the Solitary Practioner" . I also borrowed "Exploring Wicca" by Lady Sabrina from the library.) Again, thanks for the welcome and kind words!

:) You have two of my very favorite, most recommended books. For altar cloths, I have found the fabric remnants section at Wal-Mart to have a wealth of them! Many of the leftovers are the perfect size and they're available in lots of colors. I even found the celestial fabric that I covered my BOS with there. For a cauldron, I use a stoneware soup tureen with a lid that I bought for $1 at a thrift shop. The cast iron ones are nice but other things work also. Use your imagination. I also found a tiny brass cauldron at the Goodwill store. You could also grow herbs in pots in the house, and Azure Green has a large selection. They have a paper catalog in addition to their website.
I raised three kids as a single mom and learned that poverty breeds creativity :D

Merry Meet! & Well Come, Autumn Wolf!
My cauldron is one of the first bigger bowls I made in my first year of pottery.
This thing is so thick and heavy, it could bend a Buick! And as Freyja says, fabric remnants from Walmart are wonderful things. Lots of uses for them...
Most of my tools are handmade, by myself or friends. You'll be surprised at what you can come up with....
Blessed Be!
