I want to get a panther chameleon but I've never owned a lizard before.

Does anyone have any advice, pointers for chameleon ownership.

I'll be saving up for the cage and my first lizard this year. I'm excited. I've decided I'm going to order through this website:

I just gotta tell you... chameleons are extremely hard to care for. In that I mean, they are extremely temperature sensitive and sensitive to their surroundings. With being so expensive.. make sure you follow everything to a T.

Other than that... Chameleons are very very cool. I think they are very pretty.

Thanks for the heads up. I will make sure that he resides in a room to himself away from disruptions and stressors like climate and noise. I hear they are sensitive and delicate as well. I think that I can provide a good environment to him since I want to create a room for growing indoor plants. It would be like his own private playground. Ensuring, of course, that the only plants in the room are not toxic to him.

I do love chameleons though. They just look like they are serene and peaceful creatures, excluding the loud coloring on the panthers...
