Hi, since I'm still fairly new here, I don't really know where to post this, so I'll start here! I live in a small town, and I recently signed up at the WitchVox. A high school girl saw my entry, and e-mailed me. She says that her parents don't know she's into Wicca, but she'd like to get together and talk sometime. I wrote her back and told her that I was certainly no teenager and that I'd just started on this Path, too. She still wants to talk to me, and I told her maybe my children and I could meet her at the library one day after school. But now, I'm wondering if this would be ethical. I have teenage children, and I wouldn't feel real good about any of them meeting a complete stranger for a religion I don't approve of. Any advise? Her e-mail contains her real name, and my daughter knows her sister, but none of us know the girl's parents, and my daughter has been instructed to say NOTHING to the little sister. Should I reach out to a lonely person, teen or not? Or should I just stay out of it all till she tells her parents? Thanks, and Blessed Be.

Beachwitch just brought up a very similar topic [Input from the board on a request] (http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20691). I suggest you read it - it's a good discussion on the ethics and legalities of dealing with minors and religious instruction.
