The weather is WAY colder here than it usually is. The high is supposed to be 48 today. I remember last year, I was still hiking and wearing tanktops well into November. And it's been raining everyday for weeks here, too. But we needed it, so I'm going to not complain.
I don't want the snow to come!!!!! I hate snow!!!!! BLARG!!! Sorry, had to get that out. You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

HOLY CR**!!! Pyche...my cousins were from there. In FACT, my cousin CJ is named after the city. They moved to Florida though, when she was like 10 or so.
ANYWAY, here where I live we didn't get snow ((((CHRYSSI)))), but it was in the 40's. I couldn't find my warm slippy socks either. I'm very unhappy about this. I guess one of my wee folk were cold. *shrug*

I think my heater/ac thermostat thingy is busted, I have it pushed to 85, but it's only 75, which for me, is dayum cold. I hate winter, it's beautiful and all, but I havta bundle up to the point of immobility. It's gonna take me a while to adjust to the cold. For now, I'll be a room-hermit, and keep the door shut, and the heat in.

Out here in the not so lovely incorporated desert of Southern California, the winter is being brought in by a crisp 89F.
We did have our first (usually there are only three occurrances all winter) rain of the season. We got less than an inch of rain in a two day period, but it brought out the best drama of the news. STORM WATCH!!!! How will we ever survive??? My Gods!!! The ground is wet!!! Life as we know it is ending!!! Sorry, I just think the SoCal news is comical whenever we get a little rain. Its common weather, people, not the end of the world!!! It happens every year.
They blame the traffic accidents on the ground being wet, too. Um, IMO, the traffic accidents are caused by those who do not drive carefully.

It should snow soon, but I'm dreading it, since I started in the ER, I realize that when ever it rains, we have like 20% more accidents, just wait till it snows, what will it be 50-60-70% more?????
