View Full Version : Which object do you wear?

As I read over another thread it got me to thinking of the objects one wears as a sign of devotion to their calling.
Now with the Christian path there is no doubt the cross is representive of the god figure and recgonized as a sign of that religion. Though some may also use the symbol of the fish as an alternative marking. With the Hindus there is no doubt when one see's the mark above the eyes, sorry do not recall what it is called properly. For many who worship Thor, his image is depicted by the wearing of a hammer charm or image. Some who worship Hecate wear the thing known as the wheel of Hecate or Strophalos of Hecate.
As a follower of Bast, if I wear any symbol for her it is the cat headed goddess. As a follower of Hecate, I only wear the symbol I see for her. As a follower of Artemis that to is the symbol of the stag or maybe the bow and arrows. Since my pathwalk is a combination of Shamanic Influence and Green Witchcraft I do not wear the pentacle at all for it to me represents Wicca.
I recognize and worship gods and goddess of old and honor and recognize them via thier imagery and signs. If they call and claim me I feel I should equally acknowledge them by thier symbols.
Yet how many wear the pentacle as a sign of their god / goddess? Not because it represents their particular god / goddess but because today that is the sign that says pagan. It is a catch all item that tells no god / goddess that is important only that one is Pagan.
When I do see one I automatically think of Wicca and Wiccans. I must admit I also think and wonder, You tout your religion so well but I wonder who your gods / goddess is / are? Why do you not stand for them?
I do understand a lineaged Wiccan has only a lord and lady outwardly so nothing else is shown of thier inner self. But I hear so many claim to worship and follow this or that god / goddess and wonder how can you claim such you do not even wear thier mark or sign.
Yet to me today the pentacle really is nothing more than the outward symbol of a fade. Like the punk rockers, the break dancers, the elephant legged pants of old, poodle skirts, etc.
But then again I am jadded for I have seen much come and go. Not to say anyone is wrong or does not trully equate it to tier god / goddess, just to me know it seems fake and shallow.

Believe it or not, the Pentagram was used as the symbol of the Christian Church until the middle ages, if I remember correctly. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong!!)
As a Christian Witch, I would probably wear the pentagram/cross. (See attachments for example please) Problem is finding one locally, one that I don't have to order online.
I don't wear just a regular cross or crucifix nowadays... I find that I'm leaning more toward the pagan part of my belief system, and to wear a cross without the pentagram on it would be denying a part of me and my path, in my opinion at least.

that is such a lovely Pendent! if I had only found that 6 years ago when I identified as a Christian Witch...
now adays I were a Thors Hammer. however I am not dedicated to Thor, but to Loki, and I work more closely with his kin and the Jotuns. however I am looking for a more fitting pendent, and until then I were the hammer because it reminds me that it was Loki who had the hammer maid for Thor at the same time that he comitioned Siffs golden hair and Odins speir.

I do like that. Like I've said before somewhere, I think the Celtic Cross is quite a useful symbol as, at least I personally see it as, having pre-Christian symbolism as well as the obvious Christian one.

Humph. Well, I wear the pentacle...not because I'm wiccan, though I used to be when I started wearing one. I wear the pentacle because to me it DOES represent my 'god'. It represents the universe, and I am a pantheist, so to me god is the universe. Each point represents an element, and the circle represents how all in the universe is connected.
I have a pentacle ring, and a pentacle on my lower back. I also have the triple goddess symbol on my arm, remnants of my Wiccan beliefs, but it's also just a symbol of femininity, and I am a girl. :)
But next time you see a pentacle, don't just assume Wiccan...because it does actually mean something different, to some.

Yes, you did post that Sheep. I remember reading the very post, just can't remember which thread it was in... 8O
I think the Celtic Cross suits my personality more these days than just a plain cross... Probably for the exact reasons Sheep has said. :)

I practice Scottish witchcraft. Symbolism is hard with my gods, they do not have bodies of symbolism to choose from, few know much about them, and no one makes jewelry of them that I've found.
Instead I carved and sanded a bunch of tiny Rowan wood beads and strung them on red silk with a clasp. This I wear most often as a symbol of my path as well as for the protection charm it is. The charm of Rowan tree and red thread is well known - to me my necklace is a nod towards this charm. I also made myself a charm bracelet with symbols and charms of my crafting deities and spirits to help me in my sewing and carving.
There are some truely amazing Pagan jewelers out there right now as well as many small craftspeople like me making one of a kind pieces. There's no excuse for bad bling!

Most of the time, I wear one of those curvy goddess charms -- you know, where she looks a little like a genie holding a stone above her head. Sometimes I wear a tetragramaton pentacle, which does represent my world, but more because it's simply a very important piece of jewelry (my parents bought it for me on one of our very, very rare trips together).
I know I'm pagan, but I haven't settled on a specific path yet. When I do, I will assuredly wear the symbols of that path with pride.
Deerwoman, the pictures you posted are beautiful! I especially like the charm bracelet.

I wear a small gold bow and arrow for Apollo, as well as my tattoos of the 21st Homeric hymn and a cypress tree. I've also made a necklace for him of stones that I associate with him- rutilated quartz, iolite, very pale yellow citrine, garnets and sunstone, plus similarly-colored pearls and gold-colored sun beads. I also have a necklace made from a pendant that a friend gave to me of a piece of cypress dipped in an iridescent copper, though I raely wear it (sadly...it's beautiful- there's a picture of a similar one here, though the color is kinda dark, you can't see how it varies from copper to gold to pink to silver http://www.trishastemptations.com/c_lorn_jpg/303i_md.jpg), it's a bit large and rather delicate.
I also have a necklace that I made, but haven't worn in a while for Dionysus hat includes tiny charms of a wine glass and a bunch of grapes as well as stones that I associate with him (amethyst, rhyolite and garnets) and similarly-colored pearls)
I don't have any other jewelery specifically for any other deities, but I do have a blue labradorite pendant that my girlfriend gave me. As she is a devotee of Hermes, and blue is a color that I associate with him, and a lot of people seem to associate labradorite with trickster deities, it does also remind me of him. I'm also planning to get a tattoo in his honor in the near future of a winged dagger, with a blue jewel designed after the labradorite pendant.

That's not properly a pentacle anyway, it's a unicursal hexagram (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicursal_hexagram ) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicursal_hexagram)
I wean an Ankh, it's a widely used symbol in Wicca and draws considerably less attention than the pentagram.

I usually wear a silver charm of an animal or symbol that represents a particular god. Lately, I have been tossing around the idea of purchasing a dodecagram to symbolize the Olympians.

I wear a cross because I'm still mostly Christian, although I'm exploring Christian Witchcraft. Sometimes I wear stones such as quartz or sodalite, etc.
My husband-to-be wears a pentacle because he is Pagan, but doesn't adhere to any specific gods or goddesses. Therefore, the pentacle does, in fact, represent his faith. And he wont just buy any old pentacle. He puts a lot of thought into it.
While the pentacle may be a fad to a lot of people, or may be considered to be typical of a specific stereotype, it means different things to everyone and you can't just lump it all in together. That's what other religions tend to do in a negative light lol.
Interesting topic though.the answers have been really neat to read.

Well I am eclectic and have never pretended to be otherwise. I do try not to butcher other religions though.
The past two days I've worn my pentacle. I am not wiccan! I wear it because it reminds me of the green path I try to follow. Not Anne Moura Green Witch though which is more Wicca with Green witch tendencies. But this pentacle reminds me of my green witch path. It says I'm pagan and reminds me of my connection to the Earth and nature. It seems very practical to me and is not overly flashy. Anyways, here is a photo.
http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g39/Twilightexistance/31FGSYG1SML_SL500_AA257_-1.jpg
Another one I wear is an oak leaf with an acorn. Simple, not overly flashy at all, and doesn't even mean I'm pagan as the pentacle does.
http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g39/Twilightexistance/yhst-19629544830339_2042_7743489.jpg
Another I wear often is my Cernunnos pendant and even if I'm not wearing it around my neck its generally in my pocket. Its pagan but a LOT less people recognize it than they do the pentacle and those who are on similar paths do recognize it and compliment it. Its like our little secret, I love it. Even non-pagans appreciate it and tell me its a beautiful necklace.
http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g39/Twilightexistance/cmp36_cernunnos.jpg
I also wear a wolf one sometimes and various stones and gems. I go between a white geode, a white geode with black streaks, a blue agate and a crystal quartz. Those are often less flashy and they remind me of my path. I love stones, especially as necklaces.
I used to wear my Mjollnir a lot more often and that was when I felt a very strong connection to Heathenism. I still do feel drawn to the Heathen gods and my heritage though that has lessened a bit. I've learned I can not be a recon. which has prompted me to wear it less. Though Cernunnos is the primary deity I pray to and worship I also feel a connection to Freya. My Mjollnir reminds me of that connection and of the connection between my ancestors, my heritage, and myself as well as to Freya. Though there may be a better symbol for that Mjollnir was just the one I happened to buy at the time.
http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g39/Twilightexistance/celticcharms_2044_9689053.jpg
Those are all the ones I can think of for now. I express myself through my necklaces and I love to wear them. If I feel like proclaiming my paganism I'll wear something more paganish like Cernunnos, the pentacle, or even Mjollnir, but if I feel like lying low I wear a stone, the leaf necklace, the wolf or something else. It really depends on my mood. Other than that my necklaces are the only way I express myself and I love them. I don't throw my faith in everyone's face but I won't hide it (most of the time) either and I do openly talk about it to other pagans I know. :)

I don't wear any Pagan-y jewellery these days. I used to wear a small pentacle with a moonstone and triple Goddess symbol in the center a few years ago:
http://www.newmoon.uk.com/jewellery/pent4099_s.jpg
But the chain broke and I never got round to getting a new one. If I can find the pendant again, I'll buy a new chain for it.
I want to get hold of a small ankh:
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:0bCCoMeuKkK__M:http://www.themysticcorner.com/images/Ankh_Pendant_1.jpg
It stands for my one of my faiths (Kemetic Orthodoxy) and it's meaning, 'life', is what my real name means in Greek.
I quite like the 8-pointed star as well:
http://www.markdefrates.com/images/8ptstrsm.jpg
It represents the planet Venus which is associated with my patron Goddess, Aphrodite. Venus, also, rules my sun and moon signs, Taurus and Libra.

Awesome photos! Wish I had the means to post photos.
I have a couple of pentagram necklaces but I don't wear them much. I prefer to wear my owls ~ of course. It's not just a symbol for Athena/Minerva, it's also one of my spirit guides.
Last summer I bought the fixings to make necklaces for each member of our Grove (coven) that are an open silver circle with half wound in silver wire - making a waxing or waning moon, as we call ourselves the Grove of the Moon Garden. I had a tiny little owl carved from red jasper that was too small to wear on it's own... as soon as I finished making the charms for the group I attached my little red owl to the bottom of my moon.
And as it turn out the rest of the group also had tiny stone critters that they attached to their charms too. Great minds think alike!

I've been wearing the same necklace pendant for 16 years now. It was a gift from my grandmother. I've seen them called fairy balls or harmony balls. I like it because it's a shiny bauble :smileroll
I also get teased because it's my "ball and chain."

I've been wearing a crest moon charm and a mother of pearl charm for a while. I used to wear I pentacle but after a while I didn't think it suited me. Then I lost it and that prompted me to search for a symbol that meant something to me and the path I follow, green withcraft (but not the Ann Moura varity). The moon is part of the natural world and is associated with the sea, which I've always felt very connected to.

It looks like an abstract triskelion (I think thats the spelling). In Celtic symbolism it represents the phases of life and the planes of the world which are Earth, Sky and the Sea. It's also on the Sicilian flag.

I've had a hard time finding a symbol I really felt was right for a long time - it's been years since I was comfortable wearing a star of david, and the pentacle didn't seem quite right. I've always been averse to broadcasting me spirituality as well, so something that wasn't too terribly blatant was preferable as well.
I have a simple spiral pendant I'm very fond of, since the spiral is a fairly universal and significant symbol.
I finally found a symbol I really like in the Hamsa - the Hand of God, also known as the Hand of Miriam. It's also used in Islam as the Hand of Fatima, and is believed to predate both religions. As common ground between the faiths, it's used by some middle-eastern peace movements, which I most certainly can support.

It's commonly used as a talisman for good luck, to ward off evil, or simply to symbolize the hand of the divine in our lives. I was really pleased to find a symbol that so strongly echoed the pagan roots of judaism, and one which really called to me. Ideally, I'd like to find one with a spiral or a pentacle in the center, but I'm not holding my breath.
I'm keeping an eye out for a crescent or ankh that really stands out to me, but nothing has shown up yet.

I wear it not just because I follow a Kemetic path but because I like the meaning behind the symbol itself.
I also wear this scarab necklace I made every once in a while. The scarab stone is very special to me for personal reasons.

I wear, depending on my mood and/or intent:
a Horned God pendant for m'lord Hern
a silver circle pendant with a crescent moon and cat for my lady Bast
a ring in the shape of an owl for reading tarot
a celtic knot bracelet to honor my ancestors from Wales
a jet and amber bead bracelet that I made
Funny, but none of it draws attention the way a pentacle will ( I live in a small, conservative, southern town).
I have a lot of jewelry, for a guy, but then, I've been around a while.

When I was a teenager, I wore a variety of "pagan"y pendants. The only one that I still have is one that I saw in three separate dreams, and had the luck of being able to commission as my birthday gift from my favorite uncle. It was basically a crescent moon with a tiny, even-sided cross at the tip of the bottom point. The moon was silver, the cross was gold. It hung on a LONG long chain, nearly to my waist.
I still have it, but I don't really identify with it any more. But I can't stand to give it away... it just doesn't feel right for it to be with anyone else, at least at this time. I may find a use for that chain, though... it's beautiful!
These days, the most "pagan-y" thing I wear is the pair of simple garnet earrings that I got from my very favorite goddess jeweler. "Happy Woman Jewelry"... she's local to my area. I LOVE her stuff. I see her every year at the local Goddess Crafts Faire in December... she's an awesome lady.
Now my dear Yate, on the other hand... he is the MASTAH of pedants. He's got a unique pendant for every occasion.

Many years ago I used to wear a pentagram, but a couple of years after we married, after a bad argument, my wife and I went for a walk on a stretch of our favourite beach. She found a stone with a hole in it, which is a token featured in Leland's "Aradia", although not part of the text that found its way into Gardner's Wicca.
She gave it to me rather than keeping it for herself, and I've worn it on a leather thong ever since, only taking it off when the thong needs renewing, as a token both of our beliefs and our love.
When I was admitted to casualty (A&E) they let me keep it and simply taped it to my chest - the pain when they took the tape off was worth it for the comfort I got from having it with me.

Boy I might be telling my age here for sure. I can't tell you the religious content of your thing but it is the same as the plastic clips that one used to place on 45 records to play them. God I hated those things for they always broke or I never could find them when I needed one.

I don't wear any objects or outward symbols of my faith. I see such things as being vain and attention-seeking.
I mean, I used to wear a small copper pendant that had an etching of the Green Man. But that was more to represent general nature spirituality than my specific faith (Wicca). And I stopped wearing that thing ages ago.

As I watched the second picture load I couldn't get over how that one figurine of the woman holding what looks like either a moon or sun dial was so similar to some of the votive offerings I have seen made to Artemis Orthia near Sparta.

That's quite a cool pendant and symbol, I hope you can get near you :).
As for me, it's interesting that you made this post, as I've been thinking about Sumerian/Mesopotamian Symbols that I could wear, and there are a few that I'd like to make for myself (I want to make them, for 2 reasons, 1, it's hard to find any Sumerian or Mesopotamian Symbols, at least, near me, and 2) I think it's a good way to honour and serve Ereshkigal, the other Gods and the Sumerian/Mesopotamian Pagan community, by providing them with Holy Symbols). I can't seem to find any symbol for Ereshkigal, so, I might have to be a bit creative for her (like maybe using an "E" or finding some kind of symbol of the netherworld (Kur)), but, I want to make the Solar Disc (a symbol of Utu), Winged Disk (another Utu symbol, and possibly Assur and Ninurta), Horned Cap (a symbol of general divinity in Mesopotamian belief) and a Zigggurat (just symbolic of Mesopotamia), I wouldn't wear them all, but, I definitely want to make them. I think it would be quite cool.
Here are some pics:

I have several things I wear, depending on who/what I'm revering at the time.
I wear a triskele for my pantheism:
http://www.treasuredfinds.com/Product-Pictures/Celtic-Openwork-Triskelion-Pendant-9071a.png
Then for my various deities I have:
-An amber necklace for Freyja
-an opal necklace that reminds me of an eye for Odin
-a necklace with a dragonfly for Sjofn
-a necklace my mother had when I was a child that I always called her "witch necklace" when I played with it for the disir.
-I want to find a necklace for Loki, but I haven't figured out what I want yet, so for now I'm using a necklace with a butterfly on it (as in the butterfly effect of chaos)
In addition, I have a skeleton key, a necklace made of amethyst, and a necklace made of two rings, the inner ring says "dream" and the outer ring says "believe."
Man. I have a lot of jewelry. But then again, wearing jewelry for particular deities on days on which I honor them is an important part of my devotional activities.

I'm a pantheist, on a normal day I wear a long silver chain with three pendants on it, one is a meteorite, one is a stone ball ( I can change the stone) with a sterling silver outline of the continents that clips over it, so it's the earth, surrounded by intertwined lines. Those two pendants are about interconnectedness.
My other one is a locally made sterling silver charm with a garnet (I love them) and a topaz in it (my birthstone, but I have a blue topaz rather than the pee colored one that is my birthstone)
I have a couple other meteorite pendants I wear at times and two sun pendants I wear on solar holy days.
I also have a necklace I made out of dice that I wear at times, and that has religious meaning to me. I bought a box of 36 dice...really beautiful dark red and black ones with silver spots..drilled them with random holes with my dremel and strung them with hematite beads between them. They look like they are tumbling round my neck, and they make that lovely dice sound!
dice are a hugely important symbol to me...I collect them, have dice earrings, shirts, have them in my car, on my altar, etc.

I wear - at all times - my raven pentacle (http://www.amazon.com/Sacred-Mists-Shoppe-Pentacle-Pendant/dp/B000BAZCL6/ref=wl_it_dp?ie=UTF8&coliid=ISGYTN8S2HZ4J&colid=1GFER2DZRSCTT) and a custom necklace one of my best friends made me - a polished disc of petrified wood, with garnet, horn, and wood beads composing the rest of the necklace. For the ceremonial workings, I put on a Babalon sigil pendant. Sometimes I just wear that all the time, too, but the chain I have for it is entirely too long. I'm waiting for a shorter one to be delivered.

I wear a silver Triquetra... silver because silver has always called to me, and the triquetra charm itself was given to me by my husband.
He gave it to me to keep me safe on a long journey, and I haven't taken it off since, (despite the fact i've been home for almost a year now).
The Triquetra has always meant a lot to me anyways. It never ends, just as our lessons never really end. And it allows me to meditate by just trying to follow the lines.

Since I am a non-deist, I don't have any gods or goddess to honor with symbols. I do wear a pentacle, though, because it is a central symbol to the Reclaiming tradition (which is heavily Wiccan-influenced, and some would argue is a Wiccan tradition, though I am not one of those some), so it honors my tradition and the community I have in it. Of course, my particular pentacle is mounted on an ammonite, which I feel represents my Pantheism and my understanding of the wholeness of the Cosmos.
I also sometimes wear a Greenman pendant that has a lot of leaf beads on it. The Greenman, to me, represents living Nature, which is how I see it - not a "thing" separate from myself, but a living, multi-faceted entity of which I am a part.

The necklace I wear most often consists of three charms: a crescent moon with swirls in in, a pearl (was told by an astrologer that it will soften my moods), and a hamsa.
All three represent something of my faith. I have yet to find a pendant/necklace to that I like that represents Bast. Always on the lookout though!

I wear several things in this area. I have a necklace that my friend got me for christmas, it's a blue lace agate on a leather thong, to keep me grounded. (I also wear a blue ribbon with an M on it, but that's to keep me connected to my friend *see siggie*). My rings are all representative of the country I am proud to call part of my heritage, but some also have religious aspects. The first I had was my claddagh ring. The second a triquetra in a circle, which has always called to me, for unknown reasons. My most recent acquisition is a large celtic cross with a triquetra at the base, again, this called to me when I saw it. I don't know why, I just know what I felt.

Greetings,
Like all Avalonians that I know of, I wear a form of labyrinth (there are different variations on this, depending upon the group to which one belongs), the vesica piscis, and the symbols of my maternal ancestors. None of my jewelry is store bought; it is all made by artisans within our Tradition.
Interesting question! Thanks for asking it.

My necklace is a handmade cross of nails wound by a combination of jade and silver wire. My ring of choice, other than my wedding band, is silver with the Ichthus symbol inscribed in it. :)

the ones i wear the most are the one I associate with The Morrigan:
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a240/poetic_tendencies/ravenpendant.jpg
and my butterfly goddess pentacle:
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a240/poetic_tendencies/butterflygoddess.jpg
this spiral goddess was my first piece of spiritual jewelry though it has a moonstone not an amethyst:
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a240/poetic_tendencies/spiralgoddess.jpg
I actually gave that spiral goddess as a birthing gift to one of my covenmate's first born daughter last October. I wrote a long letter for the little girl and gave her my spiral goddess. I felt and will always feel a special connection to her as I was in the room for her birth as symbolic of the Maiden and another covenmate was in the room as well as symbolic of the crone.
and then of course... she and i will always be connected because i actually tattoo'd that spiral goddess on my thigh on my 25th birthday:
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a240/poetic_tendencies/goddesstat.jpg
i also have an amber acorn pendant given as a coven gift. all the coven members have one.
a set of panpipes for Pan given as a yule gift
a fairy given as a birthday gift
a pentacle with a snake wrapped around bought for st pattys a few years back
a copper wire pentacle hand made when i was taking classes through my coven in 2002.
and others.. lol

I have a necklace that I was able to customize on etsy (http://etsy.com): it has an old-style key that represents Hecate, a small sparrow (http://www.theoi.com/Olympios/AphroditeTreasures.html#Animals) for Aphrodite and a small pink glass stone that reminds me of her as well. I am in the process of buying a Caduceus for Hermes, however I have not found one that I am happy with along with tight budget this month.

I am a follower of Bridgit or Andarta or Mother Bear... what ever you want to call her. As a hedgewitch she fits me, she's a woodswoman, herbalist, healer and.. a sensible.. 'down to earth" creature. SO I'm always (obviously) wearing my tattoo which roughly looks like this (http://www.wampum.co.uk/acatalog/info_448.html) motif.. of course on skin.. without the torquoise!
Otherwise, I'm often wearing a bear fetish and I like spirals too. I'm a bit of a fanatic about jewlery....I'm always wearing some... even if I'm naked or sleeping. (in fact I have some jewery I only wear when I'm nakie.
I agree with Lousivillian... it is show offy and and vain... but my other spirit guide is Magpie... I just got to be what I is... and part of that is a loud exibitionist.

I currently wear a silver ring with the triquetra. I am very drawn to the three phases, mother, maiden, and crone. To me it is also a representation of the Celtic knotwork, and I have recently begun studies in the Celtic/ Irish pantheon

Right now i wear nothing because my chain broke while in the shower the other day. But I have been wearing a silver and amber half moon necklace. I got it from my mother when I turned 18. I used to wear a pentacle with Celtic knotwork around the edge of it.
I am looking for something that represents me in this part of my life. I tend to do that. I will pick something that I feel represents the time of my life as of current. It usually is every 5 years or so.

I wear my pentacle, but inside not out (coz of all the dippy remarks you receive). I am Wiccan and wear my pentacle because to me it is a symbol of all I believe in. Afterall, in my circle I draw pentacles in the air, have a pentacle on my altar. Open my circle with a pentacle in the opposite direction. I don't have any jewelry to represent my pantheon. I like that idea though.
I wear a celtic knot bracelet. The rest of my jewelry changes everyday to go w/the color of the day on my Llewellyn's calendar. I make most of my jewelry.

I wear a pentacle, an ankh, or an eye of Thoth depending on the day/mood/mindset I'm in. (For pendants)
My wedding ring has egyptian heiroglyphs on it, so that is ever-present, and a recently acquired amber ring for a connection with Ra. :)
I have a couple of tattoos with significance... but significance to noone but my spouse and I. To anyone else they don't mean the same thing.

I used to wear a pentacle necklace that my boyfriend gave to me all the time. But one day, I took it off and put it on my computer desk. I went outside to talk to one of my friends, came back in about an hour later and it was gone. I asked my mom (the only one home at the time) if she had seen it, but she swore up and down that she hadn't even been in my room. I'm still convinced that she took it and either threw it away or hid it somewhere (she never liked it in the first place) so now all I have is a ring with a pentacle in the middle of it. And I have to either keep it with me at all times or hide it from her.
*sigh* I wish I had my necklace back :(

I wear this pendant, except the stones are switched around (moonstone is on the top with amethyst on the bottom).

It's a subtle Goddess close to my heart, but it has another meaning for me as my SO bought it for me for our 1st year anniversary. I'm amazed it's been almost 7 years and I haven't lost it yet! (watch, now I'll lose it! :smileroll)

I got a tattoo of a crescent moon and leaf so I would always have it with me. I also have two pentagram pendants (on of which I completely forgot I had and came across it after I got my tattoo and the moons on both are very similar), but I don't wear them as often as I would like.

I wear am image of the Buddha around my neck, and I just bought a pentacle with a dragonfly in the middle of it (the lady who sold it to me said that it represented "transformation", and I thought that was relevant because I'm currently at the crossroads in my life between girl and woman).

I don't wear one item all the time. I haven't worn pentacles in ages because people assume it means I'm Wiccan, when I'm not. I do consider myself as Pagan Witch, and no, that is not the same. But try explaining that when really you'd rather not even be talking to some people.
I wear on occasions a silver triskele, or a little silver cauldron, sometimes a silver stag, and sometimes a little silver bat. I have jewelry box drawers full of other pendants from over the years, including the pentacle I've had for twenty years, but these suit me for now.
And because I have tattoo work on my chest, I don't do much more in neck jewelry, or I feel it's too much.

I have pagan beliefs but haven't settled on a particular path. My jewellery isusually nature orientated eg. Crystal, bird, leaf, feather.
This is my way of showing my spirituality rather than my religion.
