OH! I guess it would help if I told you! LOL...
I am being a geisha.
I made my own kimono and obi, and am doing the full hair and makeup... I can't wait... I did a test run on saturday, and did half my face with the make up... and I couldn't recognize myself! :D:D:D

One of the customers took a pic at the grunt job.....the background shouldn't have been that dark but it came out that way. Had to mess with it to get it to look decent. I won't be dying my hair black any time soon!

My other costume was a medieval priestess and I wore it two different ways for the two different parties I went to. The first time I wore the veils and circlet with the long black wig. The second time I decided I didn't want to deal with that itchy wig, so I put jewels in my hair and wore my cord around my waist instead of the veiled belt. Got pics the first time but don't have them yet. The second looked better but we didn't get any pics :(

My husband often remarks that he can't see how my sister and I are related, as we supposedly look nothing alike. However, for Halloween this year, my sister wore the same costume that I wore when I was in seventh, or eighth grade. Here are the pics. Compare/contrast :)
