Was gonna put this in Altar, but I do want others to feel free to say what they have to.
I know of at least 20 people who have lost their jobs in the past 2 weeks, and I just wanted to start a little something for them...
this is the first recession I have been in where it has effected me and my loved ones.
You are all in my thoughts and we will get through this hard time.

MM all,
I'd like to send my blessing and positive energy out to all my friends here at mysticwicks.
I'm very blessed to have a fabulous family, incredible health (except for that bout with URI in London), prosperity and a great job and a promotion.
I'm blessed, and I'm happy and I want all of you to have the same blessings.......so for those of you who've lost your jobs or been laid off, hopefully your new door will open soon, and the light of your life will shine through.
Also thank ya'll for always being here for me.........I've had petty issues and some very serious ones and through all of them, ya'll have always offered prayers and support and I'm happy to do the same for you.

My husband lost his job after 12 years last May. (The company downsized from 6 to 5, with Hubby being the only one that wasn't related to the owner.)
We are currently trying to start our own graphic design design business; and any kind of help is appreciated.
Since May, I have had a few other friends and relatives lose their jobs, and along with the people here at MW that are experiencing employment problems, well, let's just say that it seems as though the early Eighties are here again. Very scary....
My thoughts and Prayers to all that are struggling through these difficult times.
Blessings to All....

*gets teary-eyed* I look funny here at work.. one of my last few days here.. *sigh*
Even though I don't have a job after the 10th.. I can still draw unemployment. I even have the paper from the boss-man that says I can. I still send out energy to those others that lost their jobs and are looking for another.
My husband is signing up for the marines after he loses 20 pounds. My mother says she doesn't think I can make it through the separation. I don't really know what she means and I don't think I want to figure it out...
But even though my life is hard, I know someone else's is harder. So I send out pretty and prosperous energies to help those in need like I am..
And thanks to those who send it my way.. It's much appreciated.

I guess I am both giving and receiving in this thread.
Blessings and Luck and Strength to all of those searching for a job right now. The market's not the best, but it's still worth the search.
I lost my job in early July of this year. I am currently working for less than half of what I was earning before at a company 50kms away from me. A noticeable chunk of what I make goes into the gas tank. I am still searching for something more up my alley. Thank you for all the thoughts and well-wishes!
