Today at work I found out that I will be getting Spring break off and will therefore be traveling to the Gulf Coast of Florida. Well recently I've felt drawn (and I may have said it before) to LaSirene and I wanted to make an offering to her while I'm there. What are some ideas or advice or anything that you all may have to offer? I would greatly appreciate it!

Also does it matter what I call her since they (as I've heard) are the same spirit? Does it matter if I use the Orisha form or Loa name for the offering? And should I do something for Awge as well?

Thanks!

I was told to offer her yellow flowers. I used dried calendula flowers (since that was all I had availible -- this was in February, nothing fresh grows around where I live in Feb.)

I would think the name shouldn't matter, as long as it's some kind of semi-standard form of address for the being you are trying to contact.

If you have pretty pieces of jewelry that are broken or like an odd earring you can offer those as well as other items you can find by doing a google search on her.

Use the name that resonates with you!
