Loki-Demeter Dedication
Supplies
Pink candle in bathroom (South)
Greenish candle on bar (North)
Athame
Cider
Slice of bread
Brown and Green altar candles (to rededicate)
Ceremony
Cleanse Circle with help of Brownies
Cast Circle with athame
Call North:
I call to thee, North, Element of Earth,
To join me this Samhain Eve and to
Witness this dedication. Come Sage,
Wise One of the Plant World. I hail to
Thee! Welcome!
Call South:
I call to thee, South, Element of Fire,
To join me this Samhain Eve and
To witness this dedication. Come,
Sheba, Sheltering One of the Animal
World. I hail to thee! Welcome!
Voice:
With these two Elements shall this Circle
Be guarded fully and wholly as if all Four
Were so present. Though not invoked
They are not forbidden to come. I
Welcome them with open heart,
But North and South shall be
Singled out due to the nature of this ritual.
I call forth the Ancestors to
Join me in this dedication. They
Are my past and my future. They.
Are within and without me.
I hail thee, Ancestors! Welcome!
Hold up brown altar candle.
Once this candle was held in esteem for
The God Pan. Though He is still in
My heart, that stage of my life
Has passed. He may come again,
But for now He will be in my
Thoughts.
Wipe candle with hands 3 times.
I cleanse this candle of the energy,
Allowing it to move back to the
Earth or into me as it may will.
Set candle down and light it.
With this first flame, I dedicate this
Candle to Loki.
Snuff brown candle. Light again.
With this second flame, I dedicate
My magicks to Loki.
Snuff brown candle. Light again.
With this third flame, I dedicate
My Self to Loki.
Allow candle to burn. Feel the Oneness.
Hold up green altar candle.
Once this candle was held in esteem for
The Goddess Airmed. Though She is still in
My heart, that stage of my life
Has passed. She may come again,
But for now She will be in my
Thoughts.

Guidance. So mote it be.
Take bread and slice it into 6 pieces. Pick up one piece.
Dip in cider.
I offer this piece to (Pan/Airmed/Loki/Demeter/Ancestors) in thanks.
I take this last piece in part for myself to
Share in the bounty.
Eat bread and drink cider.
Save bit of bread and cider for Spirits and Fae.
Tonight the Veil is at its thinnest and I
Welcome any spirits who would do no
One harm entrance. I welcome any
Fae who would do no one harm
Entrance. Hail and Welcome!
Turn to Green and Brown altar.
I have dedicated myself to You, Loki and
Demeter. I will hence be called
(private name) in Your honour! With this last
Drink of cider, the dedication is done!
Take one more sip of cider, sure to leave some for Fae and Spirits. Do Faery Ring reading.
