Do you mean doing a 'Live' online reading, or just doing readings through emails?

I don't think it's possible to "get someone else's reading". If you lay the cards for you, then the reading is for you. If you lwere shuffling the cards, and all you could do what think of this other person than a question that you wanted/intended to ask.....then I would say that the Tarot/Goddess was trying to tell you that the reading would be in regards to that person ....your relationship with them, or what will happen in due course between you or a situation you'll both be involved in.

When I do readings on-line I like to find a picture of the person I'm reading for, review some of the post that person has made here and take a look at their profile. Something I should've more throughly on the last reading I did here.

But that's when I'm reading for people in this community. Sorry I can't give suggestions for other on-line readings as reading for folks here is all the on-line readings I've done.

The way I do readings here.....

I look at the person's profile.
When I start shuffling the cards, I repeat and focus on their username, location and birthdate (if these are available).
Then I just lay the cards out in a spread and type the reading instead of saying it outloud...(though being the person I am...talking outloud to myself during a reading is just par for the course, whether I need to speak or not! ;) )

If I am in a chat room or instant messaging the person, it's just easier for them to ask questions about the reading and be more involved in the process.

I don't do readings in IMs; in fact, I have IMs turned off so as NOT to be bothered every moment of the day with someone looking to get a free reading, since my screenname is such a beacon.

I have done many successful email readings. However, I get very specific and send a letter to the Querent first that states what I want from them, whch includes a head shot, whatever information they think I might need, and guidelines for asking a specific, focused question so I don't get one of those run-on " Will I get married and what is his name and will we have children with a picket fence and what are their names and will I get laid this weekend?" kind of questions.

I print out their letter, pull their picture up on the screen, then do the reading and type it out for them. This can be up to 2 days later, but I specify that in my letter.
