I'm not sure if this article was mentioned already, but I've found it today at http://www.sbcbaptistpress.org/bpnews.asp?ID=14518%20
It doesn't matter how often I read such stuff, it doesn't stop making me mad:mad: .

:T Actually, I thought it was more funny and a bit sad. How difficult must it be to go through life constantly failing at trying to force others to be what they are not?

Oh, this stuff get's under my skin. Not so much their witnessing techniques/advice, because I've pretty much figured all that out...what methods they use, etc. But..when they manufacture stories like this (yeah..right, all these witches, went to their church, and converted. Some even burned down their pastors porch), without providing one credible news source on it (police report, article in reputable, non biased newspaper) , it bothers me to no end.
Reminds me of a story I recently read. There is a Christian Comedian who is very popular within Born Again circles, Mike Warnke. His whole "act" is a "testimony" to his conversion experience. He claims that in college, he was a major drug addict, and oh..incidentally, a Satanic High Priest. That he had long white hair, and long black fingernails, the whole stereotypical bit. An authorized biography of him was released a while ago..in which his family (also christians) and friends (also christians) denied EVERY single claim that Warnke made. In college, he was straight-laced, and a book worm. So....he made all this crap up. And what's worse, is his partner in crime...er...buisness....is a man who is a member of MANY organizations which are downright scary...close to neo-nazi movements. I'll see if I can find the article...and post the link.

At-least it shows us they have great inginuity... making up all those stories about Converted withes... comone and the burning.. nonsense.
I wish wiccan's had an organisation that disputes this sort of false advertisments.... then many people will stop thinking were satanists :)

Danustouch, that's really interesting that you brought that up. In class the other night we were talking about Warnke because a girl in the class apparently knew him at one time . . .

>the Pathways congregation has an open-door policy for people from unusual backgrounds, including former bounty hunters and World Wide Federation wrestlers.<
Gosh, imagine the casting possibilities for the Christmas Nativity pageant...
I have heard of support groups for "recovering" Mormons and Jehova's Witnesses, but non for Witches. As for Witches being afraid of Christians...pull the other one. The little dogs make the most noise.
Y’ are meek and humble-mouth’d,
You sign your place and calling, in full seeming,
With meekness and humility; but your heart
Is cramm’d with arrogancy, spleen, and pride.
You tender more your person’s honor than
Your high profession spiritual.

Wow...this upset me. I should of course not be bothered by a silly man with a silly story to tell..........but I'm a redhead and I get annoyed with these things. So annoyed in fact that I sent the website an email. I was very polite concerning that pathetic, closed minded, warped little, little, little, oh so very little fink of a man. (I'm very sorry :) ) excuse me, I'm Irish :) :) lol
I was careful with what I said though :)
Anyway........think of neutral things, calming things :)

"While they claim to worship a horned deity, witches deny that they worship Satan," Gordon said. "I have never encountered a witch who believed that Satan even existed. But from a biblical perspective, one does not have to consciously follow Satan in order to follow him."
Puh-lease. I'm tempted to send them an e-mail also.

Christians think nothing of prosletyzing on Pagan message boards, but let a Witch start posting Pagan ideas on a Christian board and they'll lock you out in a New York minute.
