Sorry.....I just had to tell people who understand.
I bought my first Tarot Deck yesterday and it's sooooooooo exciting!!!!!!! As you can see, I'm easily pleased. I can't explain the feeling of starting out new....it's so yummy! :) :) :) :) :) :)

this is like an addiction club! urm, let me run into the living room and see which deck it is...................ouch...i got up quickly and realised my bum had gone numb. that's the closest look i've ever had of my floor!!!!!
It's a beginner's set by Juliet Sharman-Burke with cards illustrated by Giovanni Caselli. I'm trying to be very basic for the moment and then when I feel I've learnt enough, my sister said she'll shower me with extra special decks.
I can't get over it!! I love it! :) *bounces about happily*

Does the deck itself have a name?? Like: "Sharman-Burke Beginner's Guide to the Tarot" deck?? I don't think it's the Mythic tarot by Juliet Sharman-Burke, Liz Greene & Tricia Newell.

The other's are right, Tarot cards are like Pringles...."once you pop, you can't stop!" lol Slowly you become a collecter of decks just because the call to you! ;) I think I own roughly 10 decks or so! ;)

I have 5.. 8O And if the holiday season wasn't practically upon us, I'd probably have more - instead of saving the $$$ for gifts. :D

I doubt it... IRL, only Ma knows I read...bro knows I have the cards, but I don't think he knows what in the world I do with them. :rolleyes: (He's like that though)....and I don't have cards listed on my list of stuff to get me.. *shrug* :lol:

I would love to have the Tarot of the Southwest Sacred Tribes and I've asked my mama-in-law for them. I found them at www.aeclectic.net. When I found them they were like $15.00. I just went and checked the site and now they are $35.95. I heard they were out of print so I think these are used decks that folks are selling which is causing the price difference.:confused:

Thankyou Witchy Cowgirl! I just went to that site you put down and it's amazing! :) I can't believe there are so many decks!

I've got the Beginner's Sharman-Caselli Deck. The illustrations are really symbolic and easy to associate with the meanings. I can't wait to learn more....
we should start up a Tarot rehab centre for those who just can't seem to get enough! lol :)
