Greetings to you all,
The names Solemn Machine and Im a new Pagan looking to find my destiny (if i even have one) and someone to show me the way.Ive started my BOS(sorta) and thats about it. Help Me!!!

What do you mean by basics of this place? There are all types of discussions here and some get pretty heated. We always try to respect all paths and points of view.
RESPECT, that's the watch word here.

Paganism? Well that's a pretty broad term as there are many different paths that could be considered Pagan. I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong 8O and put in their opinion as well but basically (and I stress basically) Pagans believe in a Goddess and a God. And there are many! That's OK too.

Anybody wanna help me here?

book of shadows. . . I really don't have one! I have the Scattered Miscelanity and Scrapbook and Shabby Notes and Randomly Doodled Sketches of Shadows. I really think I shall be terrified if it actually coalesces into a book someday. *chuckles*

Hehe.. No I don't think that means you are evil, just that you have a heart..:) Now, you can't expect it to be just perfect, because it can't.. It's the human heart.. It has to have its own thoughts (sometimes even "evilish"), wonderings, dreams, doubts..

Just listen to it.. Know its language and communicate with it.. You can't go wrong..

Have you tried meditating? To me that's one of the best ways to communicate with my heart..

Solemn Machine quite frankly some of our members do lean toward what is considered the darker arts. But you know what? We all seem to be able to get along because we insist on respecting others here. And if we lose track of that, we are reminded. We can disagree, mind you, but with respect. Oh and just incase, you will see minimal Christian bashing here compared to other sites because some of us are Christian witches.... So, guess what... you have joined the most diverse religious site you could have found. So welcome and get reading, learning, and developing respect for all. BB

I'm new here too. i also am looking for a destiny or path. my problem is that there is so much info out there that I'm not sure what is right, although I think what feels right in my heart is right. I think this web community seems like a good place to start. I personally was so relieved to find others. Maybe this is the start of our destiny.
