Tonite was the night I went to a screening of the movie "A Man for All Seasons" locally. Kevin Smith was there. He did Q&A after the screening. I was in the FRONT ROW!!!! People asked him questions ranging from his college days to his new film. He's incredibly down to earth. Very Personable. So NICE!!!
His wife was there with him as well, but I didn't get to say hi to her, because an elderly woman started chatting with her & I didn't want to be rude.
But outside the theater, he signed things & took pictures. My friend Pat, who went with me, took all kinds of pics. If he got any good ones, I'll post them. He signed my Issue #1 of Black Cat/Spiderman.
I'm flying high. I met my hero. And he was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool!!!! :boing: :boing:

Dogma is my fave in the ViewAskewniverse these days.
I LOVE J&SBSB as well. And chasing amy,.....and clerks.....
I'm all excited for Jersey Girl to come out. He seemed to be incredibly pleased with it so far...so I'm thinking it should be good.
'Course, probably after it's release, EVERYONE will be on the Smith bandwagaon....but I guess I'll share.

I am so jealous I can't stand it!
Is he as adorable in person??? :D
Chasing Amy one of my favorites. I was always upset that they never came out with the soundtrack for that movie. :(

Yes he is. He's SHORT! So is Jenn (his wife). I never really realized it. But he's just as smart & funny as he comes off in his writing.
I'm still flying. It was just really REALLY great to have the opportunity. Of course, my friend Pat (slacker) hasn't gotten the pics to me yet.....but as soon as he does, I'll post them.

That is so neat. The closest I've ever gotten to Kevin Smith is.... being around the campus of his film school. HA.
I think Clerks is his best movie ever. Many many people have referred to me as the female Randal. I'm still debating whether that's a good or bad thing .

Let me jump in before LdyStarlite's head explodes.
Kevin Smith IS Silent Bob--He also wrote, directed and produced Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma....
I'm sure there's a hell of a lot more to tell you about him, but I will leave that to the others.
He's also just the cutest thing!
