I was wondering if there are any herbs known for *boosting* creativity or inspiration. Something appropriate to burn while writing, for instance. I've been doing a bit of research..havent found much. Rue was one.

Any suggestions? :p thanks!

Burning bay laurel leaves works for both energies your seeking. I also enjoy the smell of burning sweet grass and have caught inspiration from it's smell.

Being an aspiring author myself, I find that if I burn a few jasmine flowers, oil or incense does help give me a boost in creativity.

Thanks everyone, and yes, there are some mushrooms which could induce creativity, lol :p

I myself find Frankincense good for stimulating creativity at times, the scent automatically puts me in a certain mood..but I was just curious what others found helpful as well.

Good suggestions..and I'll try them all out (minus the mushrooms..not my type of thing..haha).
