View Full Version : Spices, Currott, and the charge of the Goddess.

I dreamt last night that I was helping people store the spices of the world in a secret set of caves so that none would be lost throughout time. Afterwards I got an invitation from Phyllis Currott and the Forestgrove (I'm pretty sure that's what it said on the invitation) to join them and if I went skyclad that I could read whatever part of the charge of the goddess I wanted.

It seems a little strange as for one I'm not wiccan (although Currott's work was one of the first books I read), Currott's coven isn't called Forestgrove, but the Temple of Ara, and I don't think getting to read whatever part of the charge of the Goddess I wanted would make me incredibly excited to go skyclad (although I have no issues with being naked should the need arise).

Selba,

Sounds to me like you aught to look into doing a self-honoring ritual... of the divine feminine sort...Take a relaxing bath--with candles-- anoint yourself with an oil or us a luxurious lotion that you like a lot. That done, recite the Charge of the Goddess. Skyclad.
Maybe there is something in one or both of Phillis Currott's books that you need to re-read and reflect upon. Sounds like, going back to the beginning/basics.

The part about hiding spices in caves...I have no idea. It could mean that you need to add more spice to your life, whether it be in your cooking, adding more spices to your herbal cabinet, or spice up...other things...ahem.

I hope that this will help you out in some way.

Cheers!

Hey Starry,

Those are all excellent ideas. I will take all of your advice into account and see what happens. Thanks again.
