The All

Where do I start...hmm.. okay..I am looking for a term.. well Before I found the pagan path I talked to God. I am not religious nor have I ever been Christian. But I have never been athiest either. Like I said. I spoke to God. Conversed in my head. Never heard answers but felt it, wishes and prayers manifested. But my Concept of God isn't like the Christian God. It is more..well..pagan. I always felt every religion was right. None were wrong. Each Deity existed and answered to faith. I was more talking to this cosmos that contained all, everything. Now I don't feel comfortable calling it God. It denotes a feeling of masculine. I feel the All is both male and female and none. I don't feel comfortable with the Lord and Lady or the God and Goddess. And the All fits but I need a name. It occured that maybe there is already a name. In spell work I invoke a specific deity but in my special meditations and conversations....well you get the idea. I am looking for a name or term that may or may not already exist. Ideas are welcome.

I know what you are trying to say. Your ultimate spiritual guide is neither masculine nor feminine. For that reason, you cannot call it "God" or "Goddess," since its power is limitless and not defined by specific, defined qualities? Sorry I don't know of a good name to call your guide. Do you need a word for it, so you know how to discuss your spiritual beliefs in conversation and writing? Sometimes spirituality is so deep that there are no words to described it. Hopefully, someone here might find some appropriate words to describe your connection with the higher being.

I consider the Universe to be the embodiment of the All and sometimes I will call upon the Universe as Divinity. Cosmos would probably also work in the same way. Really you're just naming Divinity and I believe it will answer to whatever you call it. Have you read anything about the Tao? The Tao is the ultimate reality in Taoism--that which cannot be named but is the source of all existence. (my definition) It may be similar to what you're speaking of.
