...My uncle Gene died yesterday...

I suppose it's for the best. He was suffering from some pretty bad health problems... but it's not fair. He wasn't supposed to go yet. He was supposed to see me onstage. He was supposed to be at my wedding. He was supposed to play with my children... He was supposed to last at least till Thanksgiving... He was supposed to be there...

He was an awesome man. He played music, he acted, he had a great sense of humor. He was just like me.

Maybe it was for the best... but it's not fair...

((SS)) im really sorry. just remember that at least you were lucky enough to have those good years with him, and try to look at the bright side of things. cry, let it out, and don't hold it in. if you want to talk, you know we're here. i'm really really sorry and i wish i knew what to say, because i dont pray personally. i'll think of you and your family though, and hope for the best.
