There aren't any metaphysical stores in my area, so I'm not able to buy these things with ease. My only option is to buy online.
I need a shop that is trusted. Who do you use?
Thanks!

I shop Lucky Mojo a lot of unusual herbs for magic -- they're very genuine and don't do the switcheroos that a lot of occult herbal shops do. They are a bit pricy though.
For more general herbs, especially health or beauty herbs (instead of the more specialized magical stuff) I tend toward Mountiain Rose Herbs.

I usually use Somaluna.com. That's where I got my statue of Set from.

http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/ (http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/) is the best source of herbs on the internet not only for the variety of herbs they stock by the quality of the herbs they stock.
http://www.luckymojo.com/ (http://www.luckymojo.com/) is better for occult oils, incense, powders, candles, mojo bags, spiritual soaps, books, and spell kits. They also have an interesting compilation of information on their web site.
Statuary can be had from a variety of far cheaper sources than metaphysical shops, as can candles. Also look in the Latino sections of your town for herberia shops. They carry a lot of great candles as well as some oils, soaps, and lotions that you just cannot find anywhere else. Southern Cali is full of these shops.
Instead of looking for overpriced one stop shops for all your magickal needs, look for sources for the components you need. You will save tons of money and get better quality ingredients at the same time. If I new which town you lived in and what materials you commonly use, I could probably give you a list of superior alternatives.

I buy from them, too.
I also buy from the Magickal Cat (http://themagickalcat.com/).
Granted, I actually buy most of my stuff overall from Avalon (http://avalonbeyond.com/), but that's because they're local for me. Their online selection doesn't do them justice.

I order from 13 Moons (http://www.13moons.com/) a good bit and I've always been very happy with their products and service.

I make my own and sell them over at Forest Grove Botanica (http://forestgrovebotanica.com). My ingredients are all organic and wildcrafted - no fillers. I also love Herbal Craft (http://www.herbalcraft.ca) as everything they stock is also organic and wildcrafted and very high quality. They sell amazing incense resins and every herb imaginable, but they don't do oils.

I use Mamacreepy - she is in my siggy - she is on ebay right now but is going to move to her own site. She has the greatest herbs and oils etc and is a wonderful gal on top of it.
If she doesn't have it she will try and find it for you.

They look like a good site, but are their oils or mojo bags any good magickly?
Also, it was rather disturbing to see all of the hexing, cursing, and controlling spells/ointments/ect on there. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with a store that sells that kind of stuff, to be honest. :imout:

I almost always email Rhisiart or Tesrea here on MW. They have a site that for some reason I cant find. If not them then I go to Viking Goddess that is here as well. If your looking for statues the best person to go to is Nebra (of course here as well) she makes them herself and is totally affordable.
Here is Nebras MW link (http://mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?t=59539)
Here is a VikingGoddess MW link (http://mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?t=212189)
Im to brain dead to find Rhisiart and Tesra but they run Tesras Magic Cauldron. I can get ahold of them if you want more info.

not too many stores in NYC nowadays so i do most of my shopping online. granted there are a few New Age shops and one or two good pagan shops in Staten Island.
there are many stores to go to.
13moons/ (http://www.13moons.com/) is a good place. never really bought a lot of stuff from them. but they are good.
one MW sponser place is Raven's loft (http://www.ravensloft.biz/). They have a good selection of stuff. although it's more geared towards Italian witchcraft, it does cater to other types of witchcraft and paganism.
Abraxion (http://www.abaxion.com/index.htm) is another good place. it's however geared a little more towards ceremonial and goth types. a good place for getting novelties, magical jewerly and to a certain extent other things.
Eye of the Day (http://www.eyeoftheday.com/) has a small selection of stuff for retail. they have a larger selection for people who have a license to buy wholesale. one of the first places i bought stuff. highly recommended to buy mini candles as they are the cheapest on the net at $0.20 per candle. it's geared towards the new age and very light.
Medieval Mayhem (http://www.mayhemltd.com/) a good place also. although it's geared a little more towards costumes in either ritual or Ren Faires it does have a descent assortment of magical supplies. a little forwarning though. this site only has stick or cone incense and no herbs whatsoever.
Azure green (http://www.azuregreen.com/)one of the largest occult stores around. has a moderate amount of herbs. also has a good assortment of candles and books.
Capricorn's lair (http://www.capricornslair.com/index.html) another ok place. they have a large assortment of candle holders for mini candles. as well as a good assortment of herbs and incense both loose and not loose. a lot of sales items as of this writing.
Witches Moon (http://www.witchesmoon.net/index.htm) the ultimate place to get a book of shadows. i believe 13moons gets some of their BOS from this place. these BOS expensive and will look like they are props from a movie. they also have a very good assortment of paper and quills. they have other stuff there as well. but their specialty is BOS.
Panpipes Magickal Marketplace (http://www.panpipes.com/)has a fairly good assortment of stuff. what they excel in is sabbat incense. highly recommended. a little goes a long way with them and it was very powerful.

i think Amazon is the best place to get books. also if you order over $25 you get it free. well at least from the main section of amazon.

http://13moons.com is a great store! I know the guy who takes and fills orders for them, he's a close friend (married my best friend since grade school) and I know you'll get excellent service. If you order from them, tell Rob I send my love!
