N.Y. Times to File Notice It Will Close Boston Globe

The New York Times Co. said last night that it is notifying federal authorities of its plans to shut down the Boston Globe, raising the possibility that New England's most storied newspaper could cease to exist within weeks.

Not suprised. The newspaper is a dying form of media. The younger people would rather get their news off the internet.

a business that doesn't know how to keep with the times and target the largest market, its no surprise or disappointment that its failing...if only the auto industry would learn this lesson.
