This'll probobly sound silly, but I've been in a Temple for a year or so, and my Leader just left. D=
so I'm in charge now of making sure everyone follows the rules,
so does anyone know any general Pagan Rules, in temple or out. I don't mind- I'm really stuck!
Thank you!

Did your temple HAVE any rules? If you are asking us for some rules, it doesn't seem like they might.

Every group/person has different rules and ways of doing things, so it might be a good idea to sit down with your temple mates and make up the rules, so that everyone is on the same page. I suggest asking everyone to think of a few rules and bring them to the next meeting for discussion and then create a sort of bylaws or compact to go by.

If you want to look at a few groups' rules or bylaws to get a feel for what you might want to put together google 'coven' and 'bylaws.' They usually outline the covens structure, membership, decision making guidelines, and sometimes include core goals and values of the group.

Yes indeedy, that's what I did when I took over leadership of my group. The former leader had been something of a dictator - it was her group and she ran it her way. I didn't want to do it that way. I wanted everyone that had been a part of the group for more than a year to have some input on the way the group would be run, and so we all did some googling and came up with some things we felt were important and I put them all together into a charter and a mission statement. Something we could show people who are thinking of joining our group to see whether they think it would be a good fit all the way around.

There's also a rather good book about setting up a group by Amber K...
