I'm quite new to the whole Druid path, and because there is nobody in my area that follows the same path as me, i feel like im cut off from learning anything first hand. I dont trust books, and ive never trusted anything ive read online save for things ive found on various sites. If someone could just point me in a good direction with some good books or a site with highly valid information, I would appreciate it immensely. Or if something similar to this question was already asked, give a link to the previous thread.

Why not check out our Druid forum (http://www.mysticwicks.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=11), moderated by Twig? I'm sure you can find some great starting places there!
Unfortunately I don't have much more to offer as I know very little about the Druid path.

Sorry but your contradicting youself a little.
Why would you ask for a type of info you
claim you don't trust?
Is the Druidic path one of choice or one
of interest?
Do you know what you believe,
OR are you just searching?
Sorry I did not mean to be rude;)
I just thought you might need to think a little more.
My hubby say's it's my givin
talent to give someone a headache
:D Or is it I'm a pain in the butt?
Could be both :rotfl:

its not that im contradicting myself, i just need to be verified that its not false. I could be being steered completely in the wrong direction, but if i get a recommendation id feel a little bit better about it. im unsure of wether or not its legit, and if someone (more experienced than me) recommends somethin to me, im certain to hold it in better light than what i find on my own

ive learned the base principles of it because u can find that stuff almost no matter where you look. It appeals to me, but it started off as a mere interest.

Sid, take yourself on over to The Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (http://druidry.org)

This is a forum for the seeking, so don't worry about that. It takes time and research for being certain that this is the path you want, I think it is great that you want to know more before deciding anything. You are very smart to doubt and mull it over, this is a path where you set your own ethics and such, and it takes time to fully grasp alot of the information out there.
