As it's the number one in the North American box office, I was just wondering if anyone saw it and their thoughts on it.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of Eminem. True, he does have a talent for telling things how they are - but one doesn't have to go about it in the way he does. Someone can be kind, and still tell things how they are. But anyways, I'm ranting. What I meant to say is that it'd be a cold day in hell before I see that movie.

I actually went and saw it yesterday! I thought the movie was ok. It was kind of a big let down in my opinion. The movie had a hurried ending and was your typical I'm in the hood, and trying to get out themes. THey could've done a lot more with the movie. HOwever I must say that there was a lot of good acting in my opinion. LIke the interaction scenes between Eminem and the little girl. THat was really good.

Unless I'm at a friends' and they decide to show it, I doubt I'll bother to see it. From the trailers, it doesn't look too interesting (to me). *shrugs*

That's on my list of movies NOT to see. :D
Not a fan of Eminem, never was, don't see it happening. I dunno, I guess as an actor, I know that SOOOO many striving actors out there are trying SO hard to get somewhere, to hit something big, and then there's those people who're like "make a movie for/about me!" and POOF it's done... *twitch* It's a waste of money and it's not fair. =(
You know who agrees with me? JACK NICHOLSON!!! One of Hollywood's GODS of acting! :p

I don't like Eminem (his songs get stuck in my head, though!!!) and I'm not planning on seeing the movie, but the girls across the hall keep playing that damn song, "Lose Yourself!" Grrrr!
Walks away singing, "oops, there goes gravity, oops, there goes gravity..."

Call me stupid, but I refuse to even consider seeing the movie. It's based a mile from my house though, lol :) I am not a fan of Eminem's at all. However, I will probably be forced to see it, as everyone besides my dad in the house wants to see it.

I myself get a kick out of Enimem...I think he is hilarious...as for the movie, as previously stated, looks like a typical in the hood/gotta get out scenario...not the kind of flick I feel like paying $8-10 to see...might be worth a rent later

I've been told by a lot of people that it's actually quite good - whether you care for Eminem or not. I myself want to see it. I'd have seen it Saturday if my boyfriend weren't in "trouble" (I put that in quotes because he really isn't but he still can't go anywhere) and alas I do not drive. I'm working on downloading it now, actually.

I won't spend $12.00 to see it, but I'll probably rent it when it comes out on video.
I've heard a lot of good reviews about it.

A couple of my friends are managers at one of the local theaters, so I can get in free if they go, so I see a lot of movies, I want to see this one, and I get to go see Harry Potter the night it is released. I don't personally like all the Eminem songs, I don't agree with a lot of what he says in them, but hey, he has a few that are really funny......

I don't plan to see it. Whether Eminem was in it or not, it doesn't interest me. The fact that he IS in it makes it less interesting. ;)
My boyfriend's mother is HUGE into Eminem right now (though we think she's in it for the contrariness factor - she loves disagreeing with people for the sake of arguement). She said she loved it. She saw the matinee of 8 Mile on opening day.
