Hi all - I just wanted to introduce myself as I just joined Mysticwicks. I'm not only a new member, I'm very new to the Craft. In fact, I'm so new I haven't even perfomed ritual yet. I've been reading voraciously since May of this year, both books and Internet resources, so I have a basic knowledge base (and I mean basic) but no experience. I find myself totally fascinated by what I learn, so I feel that I've finally found my place.
I'm awed by the helpfulness and openness of the members of this forum. I've learned very much just from reading the posts here. I find it comforting to "talk" to people who are actually practicing, and it helps me put what I learn from my reading into perspective. I think that I'm destined to be a solitary, simply because I live in a very rural area and the few inquiries I've made haven't resulted in finding anyone else. That makes this forum even more important to me. I do have a very good friend who is Wiccan, but she also is new, though has more experience than me. Since she's retired and I'm still a slave to my job, we don't have much time to get together!
I'm very much looking forward to a wonderful learning experience and some new friends!
