Just thought of sharing this with you:
According to the Hindu lunar calendar this month (since last full moon till the next one) is specifically dedicated to Goddess (Radharani, as I call Her).
Yesterday was a day called Gopastami. That's the day when Krishna (God) took the calves out grazing for the first time. That's the external reason. The internal reason is that now, finally, He got a chance to get out of the house to see Radharani (Goddess)in private. Gopastami is the only day of the year when in our temples Goddess's skirt is lifted up a bit so that everyone may see Her beautiful lotus feet.
